Recommend:
Pork neck: the sauce is incredible, it’s the classic thai, lime fish sauce palm sugar BUT they added tamarind and chili!!! I can’t believe how perfect it is
Sticky rice: yes I know this is very basic, staple, but day-to-day great job with it. Perfectly steamed, not sticky on the hands, nutty flavor. Just so good with the pork.
Everything had fresh ingredients, and bold flavor. Like wow, I want to shake hands with the owner and chef of this restaurant. Just so grateful restaurants like this still exist
Will I come back here again? Absolutely yes
The service was also top-notch, very attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The Thai milk tea was one of the biggest surprises easily one of the best we’ve had in Bangkok.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a safe and reliable choice for great Thai food in Bangkok!
Madame Saranair feels like one of those hidden gems you almost don’t want to talk about — because the moment you do, it won’t stay hidden for long.
We ordered the yum salad, kapow kai, and a clear soup — and each dish reminded me why simplicity, when done properly, wins every time.
The yum was outstanding. Bright, fresh, beautifully balanced. The citrus notes lifted the herbs, the spice was confident but controlled, and nothing was heavy or masked. It tasted like a kitchen that respects ingredients.
The kapow kai was comfort food elevated through execution. Proper heat, generous basil, minced chicken cooked just right — not greasy, not drowned in sauce. Just honest, satisfying Thai cooking that hits the mark.
The clear soup might seem simple, but it’s often where kitchens reveal themselves. The broth was clean, layered, and soothing — the kind of bowl you finish without even realizing.
No theatrics. No gimmicks. Just very good food, done with care.
Bangkok has plenty of places chasing trends. Madame Saranair quietly delivers substance.
Definitely coming back — and maybe bringing a few people who appreciate finding places before they become “known.”
Big portion of meals, great hospitality and amazing vibes!
Really recommend if you really want to experience real Thai food
Shoutout to the owner, and the rest of the staff for the excellent service and for being so accommodating! Will go here again if we ever come back to Bangkok and will be recommending to my friends
The owner is also a nice man who pass by to say hi and see if everything was ok.
100% recommended.
Staff are good very nice ambience here
Now let’s talk about the food
The chicken massaman curry looked and tastes so good and the Roti was crispy but soft on the inside both cooked to extremely high standard
The Noodles with sea food was amazing and the trick with the chopsticks took it to another levels very cool
Go see for yourself
This place is easily in my top 5 for restaurants in Bangkok
All the food taste great good flavour cooked so well
Cocktails were good also dived straight in and forgot to take picture
I will be back before leaving Bangkok
Also thank you the free shots a great welcome
