I recently visited Mad Pies to celebrate a birthday party. It was at dinner time so I ordered a veggie pizza for me & my son which was gluten free & my wife ordered a ribeye steak to share with our daughter. The pizza was by far the best crust & pizza I have had. Absolutely amazing. My wife loved the steak wants to go back. Even my adult son & little girl want to return. This is a bar atmosphere but with food that you would expect at a nice restaurant. Staff were very friendly. The more customers the more staff would be needed. I highly reccomend anyone to visit for the food. If you like karaoke, Thursday night is your night! Restaurant prices with great quality.

I could cut out my butt hole and grill to better taste than this. My wife got steak nachos and a Philly cheese. Both terrible. Steak had no flavor, might as well bite straight into the cows buns. This is our second time trying this place, first time was mediocre pizza. Wife ended up picking the chips out of the nachos and I got local pizza. (Was her choice to try them again, and after disappointment, tried to power through it. Bless her heart, she ended up eating the pizza I ordered elsewhere.) Just bland terrible flavors, like steak was boiled in Birmingham water works water…

This was my first time at this establishment and I wish I had been before now. I was with a fairly large group and went to see JTyme perform. We ordered 2 pizzas, an upside pineapple drink (not sure of the name), corn nuggets, and trash can nachos…all were delicious. The one pizza I ate had jamaican jerk chicken, white sauce, pineapple, and an excellent crust. Delicious! Will definitely order again. I didn’t try the other pizza and wished i had, i dont even know the name, but everything seems different and I love that. None of it was the same old, same old. You know what I mean? I also had a blue Hawaiian and it was pretty good. A great time was had and this is a great place to get together with friends or see a show. I LOVE the giant skull in the pool room. It caught my attention more than once. I will say they may need more servers, bc I would have ordered more if I had been able to find my server a little more often. She took our order, brought the food, then disappeared. The band wasn’t playing yet, so I’m confused if you are just supposed to go to the bar or what. She did however show up at the end after 30 minutes of searching and asking for her, but no one seemed to know who we were talking about though. But we had no ticket to pay, no tab, nothing. If we were not honest people, we could have eaten and drank for free. But, after our rousing game of hide and seek with our server, we finally found her and paid our tab. I know everyone has a bad day, I’m hoping this was just an “off” day for her. Minus her, we had a great time and the food is really pretty good. I will definitely be returning. Had a great time with good food and friends in a great place, and JTyme is a high energy band that’s a lot of fun.

I’m not sure if this place care for reviews but I’m leaving this here! I live in the area and thought about trying this place but I will NOT be patronizing this establishment at all. I simply came in this particular time to do a pick up (delivery). I was given a look from a guy that gave “what are you doing in here?” That appeared to be sitting at a security table when you first walk in (first red flag). I stated to him that I’m here to pick up a delivery. He pointed in the direction of the bar and said “You can go to the bar.” I get to the bar and a lady says “What you need?” (Second red flag) I stated I’m here to pick up a delivery for (persons name). She walks off to the back, comes back with the order, places it on the bar and walks off! If this isn’t horrible customer service, I don’t know what is! Yes, I’m black and I did NOT feel welcomed at this establishment whatsoever!

The place was set up cool and the staff was very polite…. This is the second time I have ordered carry out… The first time I ordered the taco pizza it was kinda light on the toppings but I had summed it up to them having a busy night…no problem i worked in the food industry for a good bit when I was younger so I understand things happen…. Tonight I ordered a large taco pizza which came up to $23 and some change… There’s no meat on this thing… Maybe five pieces… I don’t understand because when I ate the taco pizza in the restaurant… It was much better…. Oh well sometimes you win sometimes you lose… The pizza would have been perfect both times

Great food & service with an excellent band playing!! We had a Hawaiian style pizza with a bunch of appetizers. We will be back!!! The band was Black Sedan Band & they were awesome!!!

Had it delivered. Very disappointing. One meatball, cut in half on the meatball hogie???? Who wants to eat a meatball cut in half??? What a ripoff. Bread sticks had no flavor. Pizza was morning after pizza, we specifically asked for no jalapenos, guess what?? Had a big pile of jalapenos. The chicken wrap was good. The chicken wrap should not be the best item in a pizza place. Never wasting my money there again.
