First time and maybe last but there was one thing that would bring me back… the Fried Tofu, it was delicious! Otherwise, we went for Happy Hour around 5:30pm, some were not happy and said they won’t be back. We were seated at a table that was in a round corner, it normally wouldn’t have been an issue but it was cold by the window and the lighting was horrible. We asked the server to move us as soon as the table behind us was cleared, she wasted no time and took care of us. The Big Azz Margarita were ordered (same size as a tall water glass) and disappointment set in quickly because the alcohol was barely tasted. It was stated that they use premixed margaritas which I guess means the alcohol content is diluted. They each ordered a shot to give their margarita a boost but $17 later for only one drink, let’s just say it was not a happy hour. Note: they don’t have any happy hour food specials. In addition to the Fried Tofu, we order the Jersey Fries – they looked and tasted somewhat refried. The Crispy Shrimp Taco’s were a big disappointment, it was said they tasted just as bad as they looked. The presentation of the Shrimp Mushroom Spinach Burrito was lackluster but otherwise tasted good. The Mad For Fall Bowl was tasty but it was missing items the menu stated was supposed to be in the bowl. And although the serving plate was hot the cheese had already began to get solid again. Our server (?) was pleasant, knowledgeable, and served us as quickly as possible since it got busier after 6:00pm. Needless to say, it was not a great dining experience but not the worst.

The drinks were awesome but to be honest I wasn’t impressed with the food.
The food, was pretty burnt and for My first time at this establishment, I would just say that, the drinks were the only thing that I could ask for without a problem.
The rice was cold, bread was cold, only the chicken was sizzling and that unfortunately was burnt…
My wrap wasn’t pleasing and yes it too was cold all but the chicken inside.
However my girfriend enoyed, My food and we were excused from paying for her meal.
The fries were over cooked as well and slightly over seasoned…. lets just say that, I was super hype to come here and was let down.
The waitress was pretty understanding and helpful though.
Vlog coming soon @funsizecreations on YouTube .

Mad Mex is a cute authentic artsy Mexican joint with very unique art.
I loved my food and am obsessed with their Vegan Ranch Dressing.
Drinks were delicious too.
4 stars because my boyfriends steak was chewy and rough.
I would return here and highly recommend this place!

I really liked this place the first time I came here. The portions are HUGE. You really get the quantity for what you pay for.
The restaurant is designed and has a unique culture/taste to it. I tried their burritos and they were good. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars is because on my second visit the burrito’s meat (steak) wasn’t cooked and seasoned as well as the previous one. Overall a good place to grab some Mexican food

I’m chalking up the most recent experience to only recently reopening…. Pennsyltucky tofu was much smaller serving than in the past and no bean sprouts which isn’t a big deal but still. Street corn was ok but definitely not like normal street corn. The server however is what truely earned these stars, she was so nice and checked in on us multiple times.

I loved this place pre-covid, but after going back yesterday, this place isn’t what it used to be. Drinks seem like nothing more concentrated mix, food was average and the floor was sticky. Hopefully this place can get back to it’s glory days.

Meh. Slow service – there was 1 waitress for the entire dining room at a time of year when work groups are coming in for holiday lunches. Was almost impossible to get water/soda refills. They skimped on protein in entrees. My wing wrap had maybe 2 pieces of chicken. The nachos were okay, but the bottom layers were a soggy mess.

We’ve been to this location a number of times, because we appreciate vegan options & we love the decor of the restaurant. This time, the food was bland & the service sluggish at best. They have a very young crew. This was not a busy lunch hour, not even half capacity. Took forever for the appetizer & I got the feeling the lag was not our wait person’s fault. She seemed frustrated. My burrito was huge, but bland. Only 5 small shrimp in the whole thing. Will try a different location next time.

Three stars for friendly service. The food was tasteless and cold. Had the pork quesadilla and chips with guacamole. Overpriced and just not pleasant at all. Our server, however was really nice and attentive. Head down the road to Chipotle if you want better Mexican!
