In honor of my Uncle Jack I had to stop in & eat at this wonderful pub! It has a lovely rustic vibe to it. Love the lunch options with half sandwich & soup to choose from. I opted for the special soup (chicken tortilla) of the day & a tuna salad sandwich topped with an American cheese melted over the tuna. If you love a tuna salad with diced onions & celery this you will love this sandwich. The chicken tortilla soup was very tasty & not spicy at all.
But, the bread pudding stole the show with a beautiful presentation & baked to perfection that matched the flavor & texture of this very traditional dessert.

There is a Short Rib sandwich here that I will gladly drive a distance to order again! A great small restaurant coming into Aurora in a Century home. The interior is simple, clean – I was glad it reflected the age of the house. We also really enjoyed their homemade tomato-basil soup and potato chips. Topped out meal off with their peanut butter pie. My Short Rib sandwich, though, was so good & went well with the variety of craft beers they offer. Service was quick, our server Diane was right there whenever needed. A fine spot to stop for our Valentine lunch. I’ll have to come back.
…. Just returned after a year+ the Short Rib sandwich was as tasty and the Tuna Melt was well made with plenty of flavor. Of course we had to have that Peanut Butter Pie. The server for our table was right there when needed and very pleasant.

Our waitress was wonderful and very polite.
We decided on the mushroom Swiss burgers, cooked medium and decided to forgo the buns for lettuce wraps. The burgers were topped with a garlic aioli.
The burgers were cooked perfectly and were lightly seasoned. They came with a side of fries that were tasty and also well seasoned. The burgers were served with butter lettuce which was fresh and tender.
We opted for seltzer water with lime.
Over all this was a really nice place to have lunch. They have a decent selection of items on the menu along with some sandwiches. They also have alcoholic beverages, beer and wine.
The food is very reasonably priced.
Parking is sort of tricky as there are only 5 or so spots along the road, but there is also a parking area along side of the restaurant.

We recently hosted a lunch for ten in the party room at Mad Jack’s in Aurora, and it was a fantastic experience.
The room was perfectly sized and comfortable for our group. The food was good, but the service truly stood out: it was prompt, friendly, and the entire staff was incredibly helpful.
We highly recommend Mad Jack’s for groups and look forward to returning soon for a typical lunch or dinner in the main restaurant/bar area!

This little place is great! Must have crab cake!
They changed up the menu and took off the crab cakes. To bad they were great. But we tried some new stuff! The lobster bisque soup is very good. Good martini’s as well. The fillet was a little different but good.

Found Mad Jack’s on our way to Aurora Farms shopping outlet. We were glad we did! We were greeted by friendly staff and a homey restaurant. The food and service was very good. Plenty of items to pick from on the menu. Would definitely return if in the area again.

What a delicious, fun place to stop! Our burger was delicious, and the pub fries were super good. The brownie with ice cream dessert, was excellent! Our server, Cheyenne did a great job, and made the whole experience , even more fun. We will definitely be back!

We had the hot dog & potato soup, which is about as inspiring as it sounds. The artichoke dip was average. The burger was blah… the toppings were nice, but the meat itself was just plain ground chuck, no seasoning, no blend of cuts.
The short rib sandwich was similar. No seasoning, and just, well, just cooked.
The french fries were disgusting. Limp and salty,

This is a great local pub with good drinks and food! Large hometown feel with a nice staff that tries to make your meal enjoyable. Be sure to ask if there’s any specials!
