This was my first time stopping by, and I had such a great experience! I was greeted by Gloria, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She took the time to walk me through the menu and explain the different drink options, which I really appreciated.
I ordered an iced chai tea with boba and a coconut milk tea — both were absolutely delicious. The boba was perfectly cooked and added the perfect texture to the drinks.
I also decided to try something from the dinner menu and ordered the pork belly with jasmine rice and coleslaw. The pork belly was definitely my favorite — flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. It paired perfectly with the rice and slaw.
On top of the amazing food and drinks, the overall aesthetic of the place was super cool and clean, with a really nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food was amazing and the service was friendly. We came in and was sat instantly. A small rush of people came in and the single server did her best to juggle everyone and get them all served and take our order as well. The tomato bruschetta was great balance of flavor, clean and fresh awesome start to our meal. We also had the queen of hearts zinger and the three little pigs pork belly plate. The queen of hearts had great flavor with the spicy sandwich spread adding a little extra to it. The braised pork belly in teriyaki sauce was tender and melted in your mouth and worked well with the jasmine rice and spicy slaw. The Brussel sprouts were roasted nicely and had good flavor. We rounded out our meal with dessert the Raspberry tart had smooth rich flavor not overly sweet but just the right balance to finish the meal off. Definitely will be visiting this restaurant again.

What an amazing lunch I had with my honey. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a steam punk Alice in Wonderland theme. It’s a small restaurant with an intimate interior and everything down to the silverware was picked with love.
Aaron, who is the owner came out and talked with us and is super funny and easy to talk to. Don’t miss this gem of a place. There are also some amazing plans in the works!
I got the Do Do Doo panini , and it was to die for! My hunny ordered the lump crab portabella mushroom, which of course was totally amazing.
Can you please tell me the brand of the silverware you have in the restaurant? It’s absolutely gorgeous!
Stop what your doing and go now! Also, stop in next door for a massage.

WOW! This place is starting out with a bang! Cumberland needed a place with some amazing food, fantastic drinks AND unique personality!
I came on a Friday night to see local musician Mount Pom play, and was so pleasantly surprised! I got the fries with cheese and Wonderland punch! Both were delicious and well priced. Later I couldn’t resist getting some boba tea after hearing other customers raving about it. The green matcha tea didn’t disappoint!
The atmosphere overall is relaxed and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. I could spend hours here eating, drinking and hanging out!
Can’t wait to come back!
Ps- BONUS- they are open on Sundays!!

The place is great. Food amazing but small portion. Drinks are great. I think my only real complaint is the use of AI images framed and AI usage in there social media. Owner is a nice guy. The server is the kickass snipknot shirt did a great job too. Wife and I had a great time.

Stopped in for Boba (mango refresher with strawberry poppers and matcha with traditional pearls) and both were delicious. 10/10 will go again and hopefully have time for lunch. The menu looks fun and eclectic and we are looking forward to trying some of the food.

Stopped by during opening weekend. What a great little spot. Had a couple of reasonably priced bottled beers (served with a frosted glass). The menu looked awesome, so I tried a bowl of tomato bisque, which was artfully topped with grilled cheese croutons. Great flavors and portions. I was treated with a sample of a new menu item – a pork belly sandwich – which was very tasty, pleasantly perched on a gourmet bun, and appropriately garnished with slaw. The service and vibe was outstanding. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items, in addition to a revisit of the pork belly sandwich. Welcome to the neighborhood.

I’m from NY and was visiting Cumberland, MD for only a couple of days and I loved this place! The boba drinks are deliciously crafted! I had a watermelon/peach combo with dinner that was so good that I just had to come back for lunch there the next day. On special request they made me a ‘slushified’ matcha milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was perfect! Not overly sweet and you could really taste the matcha. And the CHEF is AMAZING! Everything on the menu is inspired and delicious. I had the Jabberwocky Toast and the crab-stuffed portabello mushroom. The people are so warm and friendly too! It’s a lovely artistic setting. I will always be sure to stop there when I’m in Cumberland! You have to try this place!!

I’d been looking forward to trying Mad Hatter Boba Emporium for a while, and it did not disappoint! The space looks awesome—clearly a lot of thought went into the lighting, decor, and presentation. Great atmosphere all around.
I had the pork belly sandwich which was rich and served on a bread i have never seen before. I’ve lived by the Chesapeake but never had Chespaeake Chicken which packed flavor and texture! The mushroom panini, excellent vegetarian pick, and the Tuna Royale had a nice bouncy bite.
The boba was legit. The dessert looked like tea-time in Wonderland. Staff was caring and friendly as you would expect with a small business. A great addition to Cumberland!

Such a fun Mad Hatter–themed spot! We stumbled upon it while grabbing a quick bite before the Polar Express attraction (which is conveniently within walking distance) after it was recommended by a passerby. The service was fast, the staff was incredibly friendly, and they were very accommodating by having a tall highchair so our daughter could sit comfortably at the high-top table. A great experience overall. Highly recommend!
