well, me and my family are here in pigeon Forge. We have googled this establishment Mad dogs and it says that closes at 11. I am here at 10:15 PM and they have told me that they are close. I did ask why is it closed if it says open until but they said they don’t care it’s closed and close the door. down the street is candy kitchen and they were able to serve our family and was extremely nice so don’t waste your time. Just go to Candy kitchen instead!!! mad dogs needs to either get their online and website correct or train their employees to be better and not try to not work, but it is only 10:20 right now and they are just turning every person away that is trying to come saying that they close at 10 but clearly listed on Google on the website that they are open till 11pm what a shame. i feel bad for the owners who pay for people that just don’t clearly want to work.

We hit this place around 10pm on a Tuesday night and it’s busy. It’s located on the main strip in Pigeon Forge. There’s 2 large picnic tables with umbrellas located on the left side of the building.
Once inside you’ll find it quite small which is why there’s a zigzag rope line in place, to accommodate a large but organized crowd. Like the airport does for security gates.
Be ready to place your order once asked. Keep the line moving. The staff are friendly enough and their goal is to get your order and make it for you so they can work on the next order ️
The ice cream is good, I had a waffle cone with Smokey Mountain Fudge ice cream. I’m a sucker for some kind of chocolate
It’s a good ice cream shop to get your fix. I’d come back again

WOW!!!! They Have It ALL!!!! CRAZINESS for a small ice cream parlor. Funnel cakes smelled and looked delicious. They have “Ice cream on a cloud” which is 3 huge scoops of ice cream with your choice of candies toppings all served up on a HUGE pile of cotton candy!
Their soft serve is possibly the best I have had in the pigeon forge area!
Ice cream nachos were served up too! Waffle cone busted up with ice cream on top them your choice of sundae syrups, whip cream, and a cherry on top!
THEY ARE ALSO OPEN LATE!!!!! It was after 10pm and we still got in with a line of people there and more followed us!
Excellent service and it moved really fast with only 2 employees serving the crowd.
10/10 highly recommend!!!
Our second visit (6/30) and it did not disappoint at all!!! They were packed but the line moves fast. 4 employees working tonight and folks piling one after the other. Still 10/10 recommend!!!

Me and my pregnant wife arrived here at 10 pm last night and was told as we were getting out of the vehicle that they were closed which to our surprise because there was a full house inside and also on the porch. After reviewing that google said 11pm was closing time we ended up just leaving. If you want to close at 10pm you should have it posted online or clearly on your door your business hours that way people don’t waste a trip trying to suffice a late night pregnancy craving clearly my money wasn’t good enough to spend here because all of the other people in line I’m sure got to enjoy it.

Mad Dogs Creamery is a delightful spot that certainly hits the mark with the younger crowd! Our kids absolutely adored the ice cream, and their smiles were proof enough of the delicious treats.While the quality of the ice cream itself is fantastic and clearly a hit with children, we did notice a somewhat limited selection of flavors available. A wider variety would definitely enhance the experience for adults and adventurous eaters alike.Overall, if you’re looking for a place where your kids will be thrilled with their dessert, Mad Dogs Creamery is a great choice. Just be prepared for a potentially smaller range of options than some other creameries might offer.

Terrific ice cream for a reasonable price. My wife and I got soft serve cones and it was only 4.99 a piece. Yeah, great price for a tourist town. Stop in and say hi and get you a cone. They do have a huge variety! 5 out of 5

Very delicious. Line was slow as they only had one worker, but she did a great job. We had the Big Dog Funnel Cake (funnel cake with scoop of ice cream and choice of syrup). Definitely worth the stop!
