My wife and I came here while seeing family in the area after it was suggested to us. It was a pretty decent value for what we got, and everything was perfect. The pretzels with beer cheese were amazing, and my porterhouse and her NY strip were both perfect mediums and juicy. The waitresses there were also great, and whoever was working the grill tonight (12-20-25) did a phenomenal job on the meat. I’d love to come back again in the future.

I know they are famous for their steaks but I didn’t have a steak. I had a fish sandwich which the fish was over cooked to almost rubber. My husband had the steak burger he ordered it medium which he said as well was way over cooked and dry. We both agreed that their seasoned fries were delicious tho. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. I hate to give it this rating without having tried their steaks but I don’t eat steak so I’m gonna have to give it the 3 stars.

The food was great, very flavorful! The banana chocolate chip bread pudding was probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The sides were also very tasty. The only thing that I think that they could do better was to serve homemade Mac and Cheese rather than Kraft Mac and Cheese. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want some great food. I will be back for sure.

First time eating at Mad Cow and it’s very unlikely that we’ll be back. We live about an hour away, and it was suggested by a local to try this place out. There is a very moldy, musty smell when you enter that myself and both kids noticed immediately. It didn’t smell food which I thought was odd. Staff was nice and service was fairly quick. I ordered the steak burger (dry tasteless beef) and really OVERLY seasoned steak fries. I also tried the beer cheese it tasted like old day old beer and funky cheese. My teen ordered a medium rare sirloin with a baked potato and cottage cheese (gross smell and texture). When I asked if she liked her meal she’d stated; it was okay. My toddler ordered catfish and overall that was our favorite thing we ended up sharing one piece between 3 ppl. Overall the food is very bland and reminded me of nursing home food. After eating such bland food we decided to skip dessert and grab it elsewhere. For 3 of us to eat lunch I spent about $50 before tip. The only thing I truly enjoyed was how clean the restaurant was.
