What a cool find. We came when the theme was Harry Potter and were super impressed with the drink selection, baked goods and decor inside. I had the iced butter beer latte which was delicious and my husband had the womping willow – more like a dessert than a coffee…lucky him! We also tried the twice cheesecake which was delicious. Would definitely return. It would be nice to see more seating seeing as it is so popular!

What a fun and quaint coffee shop! The coffee was amazing and well worth the wait. We definitely didn’t mind waiting because the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing with the Pirates of Caribbean theme for August! They change themes every month 🙂 I can’t wait till my next trip to Oak Harbor… I wonder what the theme for the month will be then?!!

Finally made it to Mad Batter Bakehouse in downtown Oak Harbor. The theme was Pirates of the Caribbean and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was fantastic and so fun. The drinks were fun names and so tasty but the treats were over the top. The baked goods were scrumptious and large sized. Such a fun experience with my daughter’s. Will definitely go back to try and ice cream treat.

Such a neat place! Had to stop on way back from Orcas island due to Harry Potter theme. We had frozen butter beer, classic butterbeer and poly juice potion. We loved them all. The butterbeer is sweeter than universal, but very good. We all liked the frozen the best. Poly juice for the sour lovers. The Weasley treat was amazing! We would love to have again!

Seriously the most awesome coffee shop I’ve ever seen anywhere. It had a Lord of the Rings theme when we were here. I heard that the themes might change, not sure … but it was amazing. All the drinks were unique, fun and interesting homemade snacks. This is a must-stop if you are on Whidbey or doing coffee rounds around Seattle. ⭐️

What a fun little spot! The theme changes monthly. Everything matches the current theme from the food, drinks, and decorations to what the staff wears!

So excited that this place opened up! It’s in downtown Oak Harbor and it’s just what that area needed. I’ve gone two days in a row and found that they had different flavors each day. I’m not complaining though, each cookie I’ve had was delicious! I should mention that my ideal cookie is crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on
the inside – which all of these cookies were. They have a few drinks (coffee variations and lotus drinks) and ice cream scoops available (I didn’t see any cones, but they offer cups). The decor is modern and inviting and there is enough sitting space for about 10 people at a time. Not sure about wifi because we got out good to go. I will definitely be back!

Mad Batter Bakehouse is such a gem! The atmosphere is always wonderful whether it’s Pirates, Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. The theme changes keep things fresh and fun. We usually split a cookie but this time the ones we wanted to try were sold out. (We came at the end of the day after date night out for dinner.) Thank goodness they didnt have the cookie because I just had the best cheesecake I think I’ve ever had! TheBella-‘Twix’ Lestrange cheesecake to be exact! Don’t walk, run to Mad Batter! I regret not taking pictures while there- my apologies.
