Firstly, I get my pies well done so while this photo might not appear appetizing to you, I assure you it is right up my alley and you dont have to get it this way.
Now, this pizza was perfection. Im sure if it wasnt well done, it still would have been perfect. From the crust to the toppings and everything in between…. when we come through town, this is where my pie will come from.
The service was wonderful. There was some issue with ordering online and potentially being double charged- the owner himself text my phone and assured that if there was a double charge he would immediately refund it. Its been just under a week and only the one charge has posted.
You simply cannot beat an honest business ran by people who clearly have a passion for not only running said business but producing a superior product.

Mad Anthony’s Pizza at Covington Yard is the real deal. Easily some of the best pizza in the Cincinnati/NKY area. The crust is perfectly crisp with a soft bite, the ingredients taste fresh, and every pie we’ve tried has been loaded with flavor.
Great atmosphere, great energy, and the kind of spot you keep coming back to.
If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.

Visiting from Chicago and was recommended Mad Anthony’s for a slice. This place was phenomenal. Slices were a mix of crispy and fluffy and everything about it was delicious. Tim was there and was awesome to talk to briefly and I’ll definitely be back for another slice whenever I’m in town!

Some of the very best pizza! Tried the Arrabbatia pizza with a nice spicy sauce. Everything was super fresh, hot and the crust had nice crunch but was chewy and melted in your mouth. This is a must try! Plus they have pizza for dogs.

I was in New York over Christmas and this is exactly the type of pizza I was looking for. It is crispy and tasty and everything I could’ve ever imagined.

Sorry but the stomach ate before the camera… this was an absolute and crazy decision to get a slice of sausage home made sausage that is pizza from Mad Anthonys Pizza in Covington… and I will tell you it was so good I almost got another one even though I had ordered a Cuban from the best Cuban place in town… so now I have a new favorite pizza place too, the undercarriage is stiff but a little flop, the ingredients are premium and I can taste the difference and so can my stomach usually I am afraid to eat pizza with red sauce due to acid issues but this pizza was so light and delicious and not greasy and I may have one for desert. Check this place out!

Love Covington Yard and this was the first time we’d had Mad Anthony’s pizza and it definitely will not be the last. It was delicious pizza and the service was awesome, especially because they were slammed all weekend and we were there later in the day on Mother’s day. I highly recommend grabbing a slice or even a whole pie if you are nearby. I had the pep and my wife had the mushroom.

It’s wild that someone is making pizza this good in Covington, KY. I found Mad Anthony’s while scrolling Instagram. Walked up, had a couple slices of their specialty Arrabbiata pizza, and got hooked immediately. I can’t stay away from the place. I’m devouring entire pizzas on the reg. I might have to buy new pants soon. My doctor asked why my bloodwork came back as 25% homemade garlic sauce. I told him to mind his business. This is the kind of pizza you’d ask for if you were given a last meal on death row. Try it and tell me I’m wrong.
Great service, incredible pizza, I’d give it 6 stars if they’d let me.

This place is amazing! The yard is a great atmosphere anyway, but their slices are about as close to perfection as I’ve had. If the giardiniera pizza is the veggie special, do NOT skip it! The sausage is perfectly flavored and the garlic dipper is not shy. The crust is perfectly firm and not soggy but still chewy not crispy. Four slices were under $20! Five stars, will return.

You cannot fully appreciate and experience the taste behind Mad Anthony’s Pizzas until you hear the backstory. Impressive, well done and worth the scenic route.
