There are barbecue joints, and then there’s Mac’s Speed Shop. We’ve blended BBQ, beer and bikes to create a truly unique experience. First, Mac’s takes BBQ to a much higher level. We’re serious about it. We enter competitions, and we win awards. Whether you’re a BBQ aficionado or just hungry, we want Mac’s to be memorable. So our passion doesn’t stop with barbecue. We’ve used our culinary talent to elevate comfort-food favorites, like mac ‘n’ cheese and baked beans. We’ve created signature salads and even introduced a new food category called Mexicue. And, of course, our selection of more than 300 different beers is an experience unto itself.

This is our second trip to Mac’s and they do not disappoint. CeCe was an awesome waitress, super positive and attentive. The ribs were spot on and my husband got the hickory smoked sampler. We also got the down south rolls as an appetizer. Everything was delicious!!

We were enjoying drinks at the brewery next door recently, and needing some food. I looked up their menu online and called in an order. The hostess who took my order was friendly, and when I picked it up 15 minutes later the staff was very friendly.
I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with a side of Mac and cheese, and they were both great. Though if I’m going to be honest, the max and cheese stole the show! There’s definitely a reason it’s listed on their menu as a most ordered item!
Again, the food was good, suitable portions and pricing decent. Their menu has a lot to offer from what I saw and I’d definitely visit this spot or get food to go again! On my way back I noticed they have a great covered outdoor patio, which is even more enticing with the cooler weather coming!

Wow, I just had the most incredible meal! The tacos were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s a really cool and inviting place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. And seriously, you have to try their mac and cheese; it’s the best I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance.

Mac’s was amazing! We ordered a kids’ meal and the chicken nachos, plus grabbed a bottle of their sauce to go — everything was delicious. Our server, Demarcus, was polite and brought such positive energy to the table, which made the experience even better. They also had a live band that night, which added a fun vibe to the atmosphere. The only downside is that when it gets really packed, there isn’t much seating available. Overall, great food, great service, and a great time — we’ll definitely be back!

To host first Sundays on the patio. The management is top notch always willing to assist and the servers are very friendly and attentive to everyone. We typically have about 75 plus people attend and the staff handles the rush with no problem. If you go definitely try the burnt ends. Thanks you Mac’s from Tri-City

This had been the first time in a while since we had been here. I was so disappointed in the food quality. I got the small bbq plate with street corn and fries. Everything came out cold. I asked the waitress to reheat my bbq. It came back only lukewarm again and I just couldn’t eat it and it wasn’t worth taking home. I would have asked for fresh fries but I was hungry and wanted to have something to eat. I had never ordered the street corn and didn’t realize it was a cold side and was shocked when I tried it. Looked for their potato salad which was the best but they had taken it off the menu. I definitely will not be going back. Food is too expensive to receive cold food. I could/should have went somewhere else. Only good thing I could say was the server was nice and very apologetic. If manager was made aware of quality you would think they would have come out and address the issue. I wasn’t looking for a free meal but they should have made it right.

The kitchen manager, Ryan definitely took care of my concerns and needs as soon as i came in! Greeted me with professionalism and patience. The salmon a had was buttery and SO flavorful. I loved the bartender, Brooke, as well. The blueberry lavender margarita was made with extra love and care! I will definitely be back!

Best BBQ I’ve had being out in NC. Being from BBQ capital Kansas City I am very picky when it comes to BBQ and this place is closest to what I grew up with. Got the half chicken, it was great. If you like sweet vs vinegar make sure to ask for the honey BBQ sauce and the dry rub. Ps. Don’t forget to grab some hushpuppies with the honeybutter. You won’t regret it. Yay to finally finding a BBQ place out here.
