Mac’s is what I call REALLY Dog friendly, allowing well behaved leashed pups to dine IN at certain tables. What a neighborhood jewel, family owned/run serving up really tasty Cajun/Seafood dishes. We had a nice little 2 top where the staff promptly brought over a water dish for our girls. We ordered a shrimp cocktail, blackened cod fish tacos and the Mahi entree. The food was delicious, prices so reasonable and the service/friendliness of the staff was truly gold standard. Save room for the cheesecake which is a must, we did the Hawaiian cheesecake and it was scrumptious! If we lived here in El Paso, we would hands down be regulars. Nice selection of beer and the whole vibe of the place is really eclectic… nice casual meets homey and artsy? Well done Mac’s!

This is a great downtown spot! Even on a Wednesday evening, the service and food were both exceptional, and the prices were reasonable. I had a cup of great gumbo and then the combo plate of blackened fish, shrimp, and chicken. The seasoning was spicy in a fantastic way! I highly recommend. I didn’t give 5 stars for atmosphere only because there’s not really any parking since it’s downtown. There are pay for parking spots not too far away. You should definitely try this place!

Atmosphere is nice but overall it was just okay for our visit. Ordered the blackened cod tacos, the lobster Mac and cheese, and the bread putting. The tacos were fine. The Mac and cheese was mid. It was too runny. The platting is not great. It should be in some form or ramekin and baked a little. For the price at least. The bread putting was good but I could’ve done without the chocolate chips. Service was not just okay.

I hate to admit that I haven’t been here for about a year. However, I went in yesterday for an early dinner (Saturday, 2/21:26, 4:45ish pm) and had the BEST time! Great food! But let’s discuss service: I’m a very seasoned server and bartender, these guys were on it! My iced tea was never less than half full. My server, I’m sorry for not remembering your name, was on it! Tabasco for the best clam chowder in town? Yes please! Would you like a knife for the most awesome po-boy ever? No thank you, but thanks for thinking of it:-)!
This is without a doubt becoming my after work dinner spot on Saturdays! Go visti, you won’t be disappointed! Shout out for the atmosphere.

First time here to celebrate my brother’s bday. Food good, service great. Selections of only beer & wine, ok. Wished for a variety of liquor but a spot to try for sure!

Once seated the service was great. The waiting staff was very attentive. The food was great. I order clam chowder, fried oysters, shrimp and fish tacos, and a salad. The oysters and clam chowder was really amazing. The oysters were a nice size. The tacos were okay, they were a little dry. I would certainly visit again.

Was craving some breaded shrimp and remembered this place. First impression the place looks dirty and disorganized. Waitre took care of us, and the service was good. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the greatest. Was hoping for some flavorful food, but to my surprise, the food wasn’t seasoned. The breading is great but with no seasoning the food was just bland. The fries were good.
As for the boil it was just ok nothing spectacular. We had the opportunity to try the pineapple cheesecake, and that was pretty good.
Would I come here again? Don’t think I would. I wouldn’t crave their food.

My family and I enjoyed our seafood very much. We split two seafood boils and a lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, and my son had the jambalaya. It’s definitely not a fancy place. If you’re looking for fine dining you should pass. It was busy when we went and the bathrooms were still clean. That says a lot about a restaurant; if the bathroom is dirty, then the kitchen is disgusting. The servers were very attentive and courteous. Portions were hearty. This seemed like a nice place for families but really seemed more like a great place for young adults to have drinks and a meal before or after bopping around downtown.

Went out to eat today and had heard great things of this place. We ordered, the scallops , jambalaya and the fried combo. The fried combo comes with 2 chicken , 3shrimps and 2 fish. The batter is so delicious and flavorful everyone at the table wanted some! All the portions are filling and nothing but fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to try more items!! Service was lovely as well! Shot out to Ivan our server.

Amazing. No other words to describe it.
This is my second time here and I love everything about it.
It’s quaint and so cozy.
The food is amazing and don’t worry about spice. The food is truly Cajun inspired.
You will not be disappointed.
It’s a couple blocks off interstate 10 and very easy to get to.
Parking on Sunday is free otherwise I’m sure you have a couple quarters for the street parking right in front of the restaurant.
Everything is homemade.
Last, the prices are unreal. $8 for a bowl of seafood gumbo. Amazing.
