Mac’s Dairy Bar and Mini Golf has been a staple in the Penn Yan and Yates County Community for years. However, in 2012 the Multer family purchased Mac’s from it’s longtime owner/operator. The Multer family made up of Theresa, Rick and Kylene have been lifelong residents of the Penn Yan area. They look forward to seeing you at Mac’s and hope that you enjoy the experience at Mac’s! They offer an extensive listing of flavors of Soft Ice Cream, Hard Ice Cream and Yogurt with all the necessary toppings to boot! They also offer the only Mini Golf course in Penn Yan. It is 18 tricky holes of mini golf, all of which were remodeled and upgraded in the Fall of 2012.

Fabulously rich Hershey’s ice cream. All the standard flavors plus wild concoctions like Banana Peanut Butter Moose tracks which is as yellow as you would hope it to be. Of course they have soft serve, sundaes and all the toppings and dips.

We love getting ice cream and playing putt putt at Mac’s. If you’re headed to Oak Hill, be sure to add Mac’s as a stop. It’s less than 5 min up the road. The ice cream and soft serve are SOOOOO good. They always have unique and tasty flavors to try.

Hands down this is one of the most adorable ice cream shops you can go to. Where else can you see the Amish come by in a buggy while you’re getting an ice cream cone! We were looking for a place in the Finger Lakes to go mini golf. This fit the bill perfectly. The ice cream selections are absolutely fabulous and many are gluten free more than I’ve seen anywhere else. The staff is friendly. And the mini golf was super fun. Cash only!
