I enjoyed a hearty lunch here today as I was visiting Midland for the day. Mac’s came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. They have a fulsome menu with many meat choices including chicken, St. Louis ribs, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, etc. you will not leave here hungry. You buy the meat by the pound and buy you sides as desired. It was clean, well prepared and crowded.

Had a great lunch here yesterday. A couple things to know, the line is slow. But, the bbq is good. I guess it goes as the saying “it pays to be patient”. The service was kind and friendly. The meats were tender and juicy, The peach cobbler perfect. I loved the decor both inside and out, creating a really cool oil industry/rugged atmosphere for eating and having fun with friends. The play area for both adults and kids was a great add. Too bad their bean bags were MIA for playing corn hole, but hey, we were there for the food primarily. 🙂 definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good bbq.

I’m very disappointed in this place it will never recommend it to anybody I placed an orrder, 10 days in advance to be picked ip the day before Thanksgiving at 4pm. We showed up and there was nobody there. I called and of course, nobody answered. Its very rare to get everybody in my family together due to work schedules or other plans they gave. Thi s year we were sll on the same schedule and everyone was excited to eat something different than turkey and ham. So to sum it up Macs BBQ ruined our Thanksgiving. If they were going to close early you think I’d receive a phone call saying that they were closing and you need to come pick up your food. That never happened. I placed a review on their Facebook page thinking i might get s response but nothing. There are plenty of other barbecue places in town so my recommendation would be go there

Great venue and outstanding BBQ! Very friendly service and the best sweet tea in town. I had the pulled beef tacos; however sampled several different dishes from friends while there. Mac and cheese was also very good – turkey was juicy and delicious, despite other reviews I found it outstanding! I just loved the ambience- outdoor seating with corn hole and a stage for entertainment. There is also a large area for private events. Solid five star Texas BBQ!!

Best ribs in town they are juicy, crispy, and very smoky, seasoned very well. I don’t really like mac n cheese, but their green chile mac is to die for. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is a must try. A couple of minor complaints: brisket was dry when we went, great smoky flavor with good seasonings but dry. Also, it would be nice to get toast instead of plain bread. On another note the spicy BBQ sauce is a must try.

Probably deserves 4.5 stars. Really good barbecue. Service is good at lunch. Breakfast burritos seem to take forever for some reason. The green Chile macaroni and cheese is excellent. They have a good selection of bottled beer but no drafts. Always playing good music.

A slice of brisket, a jalapeno cheddar sausage sandwich and cherry cobbler. A cup of tea. Good flavor. Live entertainment, more of a drinking venue on Friday nights. Great outdoor seating.

Good standard Texas BBQ. The Brisket and Turkey have a good even flavor and rub. The sides are also the standard Texas sides. The atmosphere and staff is what sets it aside for the other local BBQ Joints.
