What a fortuitous find this was. Essentially eavesdropping in the elevator paid off! This is located in a nicely refurbished space, a very cool array of lights and a large glass window that looks into the kitchen. Service was okay, but the good was excellent. The steak was perfect med rare and the accompanying asparagus spears had a nice char on them and a good snap. Absolutely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, wait staff all have great table side manner, the cook must know what he’s doing to get one that thick perfectly medium as requested! No pic of the Cesar salad but it was the bomb too… suggest requesting the dill cream sauce that they serve with their salmon for your veggie sides.

Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon! I ate alone and sat at the bar, and the bartender Nick was so attentive and kind. The appetizer, shrimp cocktail, was comprised of tender, and once again, perfectly cooked shrimp. I was visited and made welcome by both of the owners. I finished my meal with my fav dessert, creme brulee: silky, creamy, topped with a huge strawberry and huge blackberry. It was such a delightful evening and worth every penny! Greenville is truly fortunate to have Mac’s!

Attractive with a great selection. The Wedge salad was big and crisp with just enough blue cheese and bacon. House salad was crisp and colorful. We can also recommend the Reuben sandwich, as well as tomato basil soup.

The place is really nice and clean. Service was excellent. Pork chops were very good, while the chicken-fried steak was good, not great. House salad was excellent. Looks like about 15 beers on tap. Really, the only mark against Mac’s is the prices. I thought they were pretty high, especially when each dinner comes with only one side. That leaves the plate a little empty and side dishes cost so little for the restaurant. Of course, you may add a side for another $4+.

Food was absolutely delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The owner Amy came around to our table and made sure everything was to our likings. Great to see old fashion hospitality. Server was very kind and was on point with her service. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful place. We drove 45 mins from Mesquite after hearing about this place. It was worth the drive. Chicken fried steak is thick like a steak. The fried calamari was so amazing. Not chewy or over done. The manager Adam was so nice and help make suggestions. We also met the chef, Chad. He had worked at a number of fine dining so we were surprised with the quality of food. We will be returning very soon.

5 star food and service. I was so impressed with this place. I couldn’t think of something to complain about if I sat and thought about it for an hour. My steak came out perfect. The server gave excellent service by being around just enough but not being overbearing. He was calm cool and collected. The restaurant was spotlessly clean from the front door to the bathroom in the back. Wood fire grilled flavor on all of my food. You can see the kitchen staffs make the food from an enormous window between them and the restaurant.

My wife and I tried their burgers and the pretzel sticks. Everything was delicious, though the burgers were overdone (she asked for her burger to be charred and they did both burgers that way). Excellent seasoned fries, and their coffee’s good, too. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant looks incomplete, although what decor they have looks great as far as it goes. Hopefully this will grow and mature into a staple of Greenville’s downtown culture.

We went on a Sunday afternoon 3:45. Very quiet. Booths were spacious and comfortable. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Waitress was well mannered and attentive. Ordered maple bacon as appetizer. Was a little under done for us but they quickly made better. Also ordered pork chop, Brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. Fresh, tasty and presented very simply. $$$. We shared and spent $50 with tip and tea. We would visit again.
