THE SERVICE:
The employee answering the phone delivered exceptional customer service extending to the pickup experience. She was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciated her confirming my order, total, and providing a pickup time. While waiting in line I observed her greet each customer with a smile and pleasant disposition.
My order was ready at the designated time.
THE FOOD:
The clam cake appetizer was not my palate pal. I experienced a very salty, greasy, and burnt flavor profile. The texture of the dough was fine, but the overall taste was off putting.
The petite Lobster roll was prepared well and tasted fine. The bun was perfectly buttered and toasted—the lobster was fresh and lightly dressed. The tablespoon of coleslaw was forgettable due to the quantity and blandness; the sprinkling of french fries were okay.
THE VALUE:
Based on the quantity, the lobster roll entree’s price point did not align. However, the welcoming atmosphere and customer services left a lasting impression inviting further exploration of the menu.

We absolutely love Macray’s. The food is always fresh and delicious, the servers are friendly and helpful, and the owners are very personable. We celebrated at Macray’s when we found out we were expecting a son this fall and several people stopped by to ask about it and shared stories. We’ve been back numerous times since!
We highly recommend the clam cakes, calamari, baked cod, and any dessert on offering. I’ve also had the Del’s Vodka Lemonade many times and it’s a delight. Although they specialize in seafood, we also loved their steak dishes. See photos.

Went to Rhode Island to discover who had the best lobster rolls, and after 6 different places, MacRay’s won me over. My son had a burger which was good. My wife had crab cakes and fried class, which a small order of each would have been enough to feed us. They also serve Dells lemonade!!! The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars on atmosphere is because you eat outdoors. I’m from Arizona and not use to that humidity. Not really their fault!

It is easy to see why this is one of the local favs for seafood. We started with six very large clam cakes that had huge pieces of clams. My wife gave them a thumbs up. I ordered a Mcray burger which was outstanding; our daughter ordered the Fishermen’s Platter that was also outstanding. My wife ordered fish, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The grandkids ordered Bacon Cheeseburgers and could not finish them. Great service and great food, what a great combination.

We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place. This place is a hidden gem. If you aren’t looking for it you may not notice it from the road. The lobster roll was huge and so fresh and the clam chowder was some of the best I’ve had. We will definitely come back k when we visit again.

Everything was amazing, my husband said it was the best lobster roll he has had! Fried clams and clam cakes were amazing. Son had burger and loved it! Our waitress was great and once she found out we were from out of town she made sure we felt the love!

Macray’s Seafood located at 115 Stafford Rd in Tiverton Rhode Island is our go to restaurant. We probably eat there once a week, sometimes more. The prices are fair, and the food is delicious. We have never had a bad meal here. They have a full bar and the drinks are made awesome. They have weekly specials which are always good. On Cinco De Mayo they had Mexican fusion choices. On Saint Patrick’s Day they had Corned Beef and Cabbage on the menu. The front of the house staff is great. They have live steel drum music every Thursday which is always a pleasure. Recently they have had the smoker out a few times and made some delicious barbeque ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw. Even though they specialize in seafood they make great steak and hamburgers – my grandfather is what you would consider a hamburger connoisseur and he has given them his stamp of approval. I highly recommend giving Macray’s Seafood a chance.

The chowda gives your belly a hug. The cakes are light and airy and full of clams. Definitely not a hush puppie.
Don’t worry I’m only eating a few cakes. Taking the rest home. I did demolish the chowda!
Almost forgot, I had a kiddie size Del’s frozen lemonade.

My husband and I finally stopped by Macray’s for dinner and what a delightful treat it was! He loved his generous portion of fish and chips. We both thought the crab and corn chowder was absolutely delicious. I wanted to buy a gallon to bring home! And I loved my shrimp scampi – pictured – light and perfect! Both ladies serving us were very friendly and gracious to boot! We look forward to going back again soon!
