An unassuming authentic Mexican food truck that provides massive food portions and vegetarian options (could also be made vegan minus cheese). The burrito I had was HUGE I mean I could’ve made 4 meals out of it and for $15, plus how delicious it was, it was totally worth it. Plus the guy running the truck was so sweet and friendly.

These were the best tacos we’ve had in a long time! This place is 100% where you want to stop if you’re swinging through Colorado Springs or by Garden of the Gods.
The tacos are delicious and authentic, made with fresh ingredients and classic toppings. A little lime, onion and cilantro. Food made fresh for you. Grab a Jarritos or Mexican Coca Cola to refresh you. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you’re getting, and the gentlemen serving the food is incredibly kind.
5+ stars and would highly recommend! Hope to make it back some day.

I was in the mood for tamales. I had gone by this truck many times. So I looked up the reviews and they were all pretty good. So I gave it a try. I wanted pork tamales, but they didn’t have any. They only had chicken and chicken with jalapeños. So I gave those a try. I ordered the tamale plate. I got one of each. The tamale plate also came with rice. First the tamales had no chicken in them. The one had a little bit of cheese on the inside and the other one had a bit of jalapeños and a little bit of cheese. They were covered with a ton of cheese. I was not very happy. I had taken the cheese off the top. The masa was good, but I was disappointed if I had not been so hungry, I would’ve not eaten the tamales. The rice on the other hand was horrible. It had a weird flavor, and it was very very salty.

We got the burrito, and it’s hands down the best burrito I’ve ever had. We’ll be stopping by any time we are nearby from now on!
Edit 1 year later: We really love this place. Our favorite is the pork smothered burrito with green chili. We have had other items, but they aren’t as “WOW” as the smothered burrito. We are moving, and this is 1 of 2 places that we will really miss.
The only issue we have is inconsistent hours. It’s hard to know when the place is open and not. You can’t just call because he doesn’t answer the phone. We’ve driven there (20 min 1 way) a few times for it to be closed which was a real bummer.

Decent food, owner/cook was super nice, but we waited 20 mins for a quesadilla and plate of tacos, straight off the menu/no customization with no one in front of us. Hit them up but don’t expect a quick meal!

Delicious authentic Mexican Tacos!!! This is the place to go for amazing tacos! I haven’t tried any other menu items because their tacos are so delicious! They also have real Mexican coke made with cane sugar! Give them a try and you’ll be hooked!

The owner is a nice guy, helped me with my Spanish before we ate. A few menu items were not available so we settled for a smothered burrito and the quesadillas. I will settle again and again, food is good and the portion sizes are worth the price.
Make your way and give it a shot, then go back for something different.

I was driving through with my boyfriend and Mom, just coming down from Pikes Peak Mountain and wanted a bite to eat. It’s our 3rd year coming to Colorado and we’re from Chicago so we’re always excited to try something different. Today we were feeling Mexican and found this quaint little taco place and stopped on by. I ordered some steak tacos and was rather disappointed with how many fatty hard chewy pieces I had in my taco. The sauces were also bland as well. I asked my boyfriend to ask them for the spiciest tamales they had. They were out of chicken so we went with pork. Maybe it’s because I’m Hispanic myself but they were mildly spicy at best and had more maize than meat on the inside. I haven’t been able to find any good Mexican food here so I’m hoping to find a better spot. This place is good if you’re hungry but if you want real authentic food, it just didn’t hit the spot for me.
