We stopped with a large group and the wait was long, which we didn’t mind, but the server and greeter evidently minded. They were not very friendly and almost mad when we said we could break our table up when being seated, if it was tight. While I liked the efficiency of being able to pay at the table through the server, I did not think it was appropriate for the server to ask the two different checks in our group what tip we wanted to add. It was awkward. We had lunch and the food was decent. From looking at other pics, this is a great place for breakfast. We will most likely return and give it another go for breakfast.

Great value for the price. Actually, price was cheap for the taste and quantity of food. Looked like every meal came out with homemade strawberry jam. Definitely home made, not out of a factory sugar jar. My sandwich was so big I used the top piece for bread to go with the jam.

Friendly atmosphere. Service was great, loved the homemade jelly and that is the most bacon I have ever gotten with any breakfast! It’s obvious why this place stays busy with a line out the door. Very reasonable on prices was a little over 100.00 for 7 of us to eat breakfast.

Chicken strips are floppy and gelatinous, fries under-done, and corn for veggie. Who serves corn for a veggie nowadays? Decent bread and breakfast items, but nothing to write home about. Servers are classic, small town people with little customer service skill or friendly smiles.

This was my first time there since I don’t live in Gladwin area. We had breakfast…..the best breakfast I’ve had at a restaurant. Homemade bread for toast with homemade jam. Great sausage!!! Eggs cooked perfectly.!

The staff were so rude it was dissapointing.. I asked for a highchair for my granddaughter and was ignored on the first request, then on the second request was told to get it myself . They were angry when we wanted to order items without butter, and actually argued amoung themselves about coverage of tables. We will be going back to Woodland Dinner where they make you feel welcome.. sorry to bother you girls!!

Corned beef has is absolutely delicious! Eggs are perfectly over easy as ordered and huge eggs. Toast is thick cut and buttered with what I assume by coloring is REAL butter which I think is absolutely to die for! Jam looks homemade or Amish and is spectacular! Staff is friendly and service was fast at about 9:45am. Will recommend for any travelers for breakfast. Great hometown feel, sweet atmosphere.
