This is an old family favorite, however, I am concerned that it hasn’t recovered from their recent fire and rebuild. We stopped by while passing through Tremonton and had a meal. The service was pretty good, although I was told at the register the “gold sauce” on my turkey sandwich was a yellow BBQ sauce and I quickly found it was not and that it is a honey mustard sauce that tastes very mustardy. I was not impressed. The sandwich was very lean on the amount of meat and was that and sauce, which is not much for what I paid for this sandwich. The fries were good and tasty and worked well with the standard fry sauce. I also got a raspberry shake which was wonderful, creamy, and delicious. Overall it was a good meal, but bordering on disappointed.

Burger was ok. The burger wasn’t hot and bread was very dry. All of this I wld have looked past but all they kept talking about is my tip which was 1 dollar. When I paid with my card the first thing I was asked was to fill out tip and sign receipt. I walked up to register and placed my own order and then picked up my food at the counter so I’m confused why they are requesting tips. Are they being paid like servers or do they believe they have done something to deserve a tip before even providing a service. I paid 1.00 hoping I don’t get spit in my food however I will be ensuring all these kids are being paid appropriately by taking my concerns to the labor board. Something doesn’t feel right either which way! I also have video of the employees talking about how I only tipped a dollar but decided not to post here. I really enjoyed this home town restaurant when they reopened but now not so much!

After waiting over an hour our friend had to argue with the cashier to make the food that was originally ordered, after bringing the cold food home this was two orders of fries? We’ve always loved macks but since they’ve reopened the service has been absolutely horrible, and the food is not worth the insane wait and arguing that happens every time we try to order food. This is so sad to see macks go down this way, we’ve always loved it here.

We waited longer then 30 min in the drive thru. Not many were inside and we were only the 3rd car in the drive thru. Longest wait was 1 car in front. And they only got a shake and waited just as long. By the time we got our food, it was cold and was just thrown in the bag and all smashed. I always try to give them a chance but it’s just gets worse each time I go. Which is sad because it used to be a home town fav.

I waited in the drive for nearly 25 minutes, noticing a bag on the table near the register. I sat at the window for a good 8 minutes before paying… and guess who’s food was in that bag that had been sitting? Mine, no surprise it was cold. I had ordered a BLT with extra bacon, onion rings, and a diet coke. I was surprised when I was told that my total was $21. When I questioned the total, he just read my order. I shrugged and said okay. I wish I had insisted on a better explanation… because THIS was the BLT with extra bacon I got. Maybe a total of 1 piece of bacon. Hahaha.. guess who will not be going back! The onions rings were surprisingly good for being cold! The diet coke was the best part.

Went for the first time since they reopened. Waited for quite a bit with no other cars in the drive thru and no one in the lobby, was hopeful that meant that food was being cooked fresh. Got the order and they had messed up the hamburger. Took it back in to have them remake it. The, I assume, owner or manager asked what was wrong and I let her know the hamburger was made incorrectly with everything on it. She turned around and told the kids working the line to make a fresh bun and just put the hamburger off the incorrect one onto the new bun. I said um no I would like it made correctly, that one has everything all over the meat and the cheese. She then seemed irritated and asked if I really wanted them to make a new one. I said nevermind I’ll go grab my debit card and you can refund me the burger. I got my card went back in and she said should I just refund the whole order, I said sure, she then told me to go get the rest the food so she could. Went and grabbed the rest the food and got cash back. Won’t return, not worth the crappy customer service. Although the younger kids working there seemed nice. Maybe if the older lady left it might improve. Or if she corrected whatever was causing her overall displeasure in life it might improve.

I have 1 hour for lunch. I decided to try Macks since their re-opening. Ive been in line for 45 minutes and people have been going in and out with their walk in orders, but drivethru moves one car every 10 minutes there were only 4 cars in the drive thru when I arrived thinking it would be quick…. I’m going to have to go back to work before I even get my food but I’m locked in. Once I got to the window they ask me for a tip and immediately go around the corner when I didn’t add one. My food is cold and I didn’t even get my drink until I asked him for it… I am extremely disappointed I was hoping the good old Macks was back

I want to like this place so much. It’s a bummer I have to leave not a great review. The food was terrible, tater tots still frozen, chicken nuggets burnt, I was given the wrong drink. It wasnt busy, my kids and I were the only ones in there. It took about a half hour to get our food, the staff were making themselves food, shakes and ice creams. Quite frankly, just go to Dairy Queen for a better experience and better food.
