This is a great, neighborhood diner. The sweet potato fries are delicious. The French toast had crispy edges and was soft inside. It was perfect. The farmers omelette was large and delicious. Elizabeth was a great waitress. It’s definitely 5 stars for a diner. The hostess struggle with larger groups which is frustrating. And the draft into the entire restaurant when it’s cold and the door opens will make me think twice before going in the winter.

I am so disappointed and upset that I chose here for my Mother’s Day meal. I have never been given older fries for my child in my life. The chicken tenders were also so old and they didn’t include my sons dipping sauce. They literally taste days old. The salad was soaking wet and gooey and the panini was again, old and dry ingredients. Unbelievably disgusting and $50 wasted. Of course I didn’t notice until we got home and I live 30 mins away. Thanks a lot guys!

Update: Food is still delicious, and the service remains stellar. Love the Bistro Salad.

There is nothing bad on their menu. I’ve tried just about everything. Simple cuisine, friendly and attentive staff. Phenomenal breakfast. Fresh squeezed OJ. Soups are on point- we’ll get the chicken noodle to go for when we’re sick. Homemade. I’d recommend this place for kids. We always take grandma and grandpa here when they are in town.

Best Benedict on the Avenue! Hollandaise on the side with fruit instead of hash browns. Yummy Added avocado & grilled onions to the Florentine (minus tomato)

My new burger place! Little Tony’s told me they were too busy to take my carry out order, and what a favor they did for me. I’ve heard great things about Mack Avenue Grille and decided to give them a call. So glad I did! Food was fantastic and the service was amazingly pleasant. So welcoming, will be back again. Thank you!

This is a good breakfast spot offering a variety of food to please the customer the day that I went, it wasn’t really busy however it can get busy, with a wait. Overall never had a bad experience and the food has always been exceptional.

I came here a last month and the food was delicious, but my experience was not. I was taking my parents to brunch and the host had a table available immediately. My parents and I sat there for at least 10 mins or more with no greeting from the waiter. The host then sat a party of 2 white people at a table next to us and a different waiter came over right away before they could even sit down with water for both. After seeing that, we got up and was about to leave but our waiter finally approached us like “Are you in a rush?.” I felt as if the comment was sarcastic cause you had to know we had been waiting awhile because the host typically notifies the waiter right away they have a table. Other brunch places in the surrounding area were already busy is how we ended up at Mack grill anyways so we stayed. My french toast with berries were amazing, the bacon was chewy and my parents enjoyed the omelettes. They have great food and decent pricing, but unfortunately I will not be returning after that experience.

It was super rushed. Came every 2 minutes to ask if we were ready. The food looked good and it came on time, but it wasn’t good. The food was all dry and the fries were all stale. The check came the second we got our food. Felt kinda pushed out tho it wasn’t crowded. Probably won’t come back

I ordered the florentine eggs Benedict. It was my fault that I didn’t notice it doesn’t come with meat, but other than that the whole meal was gross. Soggy bread that I’m pretty sure was never toasted prior to coming out. Poached eggs with the whites still runny and more mushrooms than anything else. The hashbrowns looked like they had been cooked before rinsed so they were hard and chewy. I told the waitress I didn’t like the food and she apologized but never offered a refund. I paid over $10 and still left a 20% tip because I’m not an AH but I have never had a restaraunt not offer a refund or another meal, especially since I literally took two bites. I didn’t eat half the order and then ask for a refund. My gf ordered something else and enjoyed her food so there’s that. I won’t be back.
