Food tasted amazing but once i saw them welcome a couple with a dog (non service) I was instantly turned off. Dog sat at the table. Sat in the chairs. Gross. One of the workers played with it while having a basket of food in her other hand. Gross. They sat directly in front of me so i politely gathered my food and drink and moved towards the door. Didn’t make a fuss because what’s the point, it’s trendy these days, disgusting, but trendy. But yeah the food was good but I wouldn’t return. Had they come in before i ordered or my food came i would have left but i literally had just gotten my food and taken my first bite. If dogs in restaurant chairs and tables is your thing then you’d enjoy because the food was fresh and tasty.

Order to go ! Order to go! Order to go !!
Don’t get any of the chifa, ( Peruvian Chinese style food) it sucks .
Been here multiple times,
hoping that it would get better. Their Peruvian food is decent specially their rotisserie chicken. (Pollo a la brasa)
Service sucks !!
They 20% service charge 4 people and up
There are multiple Peruvian Restaurants in the area with better service.

So I went to Machu Picchu the Inka Way and for my first Peruvian food experience I was very pleased so thanks everyone for the encouragement. Here’s my review… I had the Saltado Sirloin Strips (medium well) tossed with tomatoes and cilantro with fries and rice. The flavor was great! Next time I would order the steak medium and probably order the fries on the side just because of personal preference. What was great was it was obviously made to order and fresh! It came with a green sauce that had a little spice to it that I loved. Not sure what I was supposed to do with it but I dipped the pieces of steak in it. lol. The place was really nice and the service was also great. Based upon my experience I will definitely be back to visit again. Thank you Jennifer Lizbeth for allowing me to have my first Peruvian experience. I can’t wait to try some other things on the menu!

(Ordering guide for my fellow Americans). This is easily the most authentic and delicious Peruvian food in GA, and that I’ve had period. They really take pride in bringing authentic Peruvian flavors and it shows. Top-notch service, passion, and vibes. Easily my favorite restaurant! I’m married to a Peruvian, so I know my stuff.

GUIDE:
1st picture is Caldo de Pollo (chicken noodle soup), if you are a picky eater or are just wanting a more flavorful version, this is what you should get. If you’re a spice freak, ask for “rocotto” (they’ll bring you a small cup of red spicy sauce, use it sparingly my friends). They have this in both an appetizer (entrada) and a dinner portion size.

The 2nd picture is “causa de pollo”. This is also good for picky or people who are open to trying new things. It’s a layer of chicken, onion, spices, mayo (NO-this is not like the crappy chicken salad you make, it actually tastes good), sandwiched between two layers of perfect mashed potatoes, topped with more of the filling of the top layer. Overall this is a simple, flavorful appetizer (entrada), you can also try this with tuna if you’d like, both options are delicious for all types of eaters.

3rd picture is “ceviche mixto” this is a dish consisting of raw fish and other seafood, sweet potato, onion, canchita (crunchy fried Peruvian corn), cancha (soft peruvian corn), and a lime-based loose consistency (it’s watery but very flavorful, it isn’t watery in a bad way, I’m sucking at explaining this). Overall this is SUPER fresh and refreshing, it’s a cold dish that just tastes so good if you want something light but packed with all kinds of flavor. Great option if you don’t want something heavy, and it really isn’t THAT adventurous, the seafood is raw, but so is sushi :). Also, if you don’t like clams, calamari, etc. you can get it with just fish.

4th is one most of you gringos won’t eat because of the cut of steak this it (but you’re brave enough to eat the McDonald’s mystery meat burgers, so maybe rethink your ways?). It is “Antichuos”, which is a perfectly seasoned and tender beef heart, which they cook to perfection (I am a medium rare guy, this one is better cooked medium (medio) though). It also comes with cancha (same as in the ceviche), and potato, along with a spicy red dipping sauce. If you’re a spice freak, ask for “rocotto” (see the first section for reference). Overall, the texture isn’t that far off from a steak you’d normally have (maybe a LITTLE more chewy?), but has a way better

Other foods:

-Pollo a la Brasa. This is Peruvian rotisserie chicken, the only way I can describe this is it is so much better than the crap that has been sitting out in the grocery store all day. It’s like rotisserie chicken on steroids, and is my personal go to. If you get the meal, it comes with fries and salad (the dressing tastes like a slightly less tangy caesar). It also comes with two bottles of sauce: a mayo-based sauce and a spicy green sauce, good separate and mixed! Try this and it will also become your go to.

-Pollo a la Milanesa. This is just chicken Milanese, breaded and cooked to perfection, seasoned well, crispy, full of flavor. Comes with salad and rice (can sub fries, I wouldn’t though). Their rice is also spectacular. If you are a SUPER picky eater, get this, it’s perfect for you and this is my wife’s favorite.

DRINKS (Bebidas)
-Inca kola (soda that tastes like bubble gum in a good way)
-chicha morada (Peruvian purple corn drink that is made with pineapple, cinnamon and other fruits, sweet and refreshing).

DESSERT (Postre)
-arroz con leche (rice putting but better than the American one with more cinnamon and rasins)
-massamora (purple corn jelly-like dessert, it tastes like chicha morada, see in drinks for details)
-combinado (combination of the first two)
-picarones (hand-made Peruvian donuts made from flour and various types of potatoes to provide a super unique and delicious flavor, coated in a fig-based Carmel-like sauce).
-Alfaores (Peruvian cookies, soft textured cookies with Carmel filling dusted in powder sugar).

This place has good food. However, imposing a 20% tip for groups of 4 people seems to me very high and unfair. Considering this type of charges usually apply for tables of 6 or more. I’d like to encourage the owner of this business to please be fair to all customers who want to enjoy the wonderful peruvian food and revise their policy in this regard. Besides, they are supposed to make consumers aware of this charge previous to commencement of the meal, something they didn’t do with me. Does anybody else feel the same? Or is it really fair that a small family of 4-5 has to pay this extra money? Tips as appreciation for the service are definitely in order. However, when directly charged to the bill, it discourages servers from providing good service.

The service was excellent, and the food was truly flavorful. It’s rare to find authentic Peruvian-Chinese dishes (Chifa) in Atlanta, Georgia, but this restaurant offers a great variety of options on their menu. Highly recommended!

Came in for Lunch with my father . We ordered Yuca Frita with Huancaina sauce as our appetizer along with tallarín saltado and lomo saltado. I originally wanted to order Caldo de pollo but they said they did not have any that day.The Chica morada tasted fresh and my fathers Tea of Anis was a Peruvian brand which was great. I just wish they would offer more hot water at no charge or a bigger cup. The food was very tasty ,the Lomo Saltado had a different flavor BUT it was very good. The meat was very tender . They have a Menu for lunch hour so definitely ask about that . I would definitely come back.

Peruvian taste yes! I ordered Pollo a la brasa, Causa acevichada was so good, Arroz Chaufa , Lomo Saltado a lo pobre and Picarones and everything I ordered was 10/10. It was a bit pricey compare to Sabor Inka but overall I had a great experience.
