This is a hidden gem with great food. Check this place out. My Spanish friends like it a lot too. A small place, but has nice decorations, making it festive. It sounds like they only have tacos, but they have a complete menu and our food was really pretty good! We had a Carnita Quesadilla plate and Chicken Fajitas. We had a lot left over to take home too. We will definitely be going back to try other things.

Ordered take out at about 6:45 on a Monday night and was VERY impressed with both the flavors and the service of the staff! The salsa was fantastic with a spice that comes in at the end. Prices are phenomenal compared to other local shops.

Ceviche, quesadillas de asada, fried tilapia, michelada and piña colada… this will easily be one of my Mexican fav places in the Foley,Alabama area. They told me that just started something like an “afterparty” which would actually be after dinner hehe. And they are also trying to add some karaoke. I will visit them again of course!

THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, I would definitely recommend!
The chips were hot and fresh, the staff were amazing, it’s super clean which made me think it was a new restaurant (but they’ve been opened for a while), they have napkins on the table (for some reason you have to ask for extra napkins when you go out to eat at restaurants), and the food came out quickly. I’d go back to eat there if I was in Foley, AL.

After all of the my usual Mexican places in Foley lost their mind with pricing, I discovered this little gem through Facebook posts. Reminds of the old school Foley places with cheap decor and cheaper, but delicious, food! I’ll take reasonably priced, delicious food over ornate blown glass chandeliers any day.

Be careful coming here and inspect your bill. Came on a Friday with party of 4 adults and 4 kids. Upon time to pay the bill was given the tablet showing no breakdown and simply the subtotal with tip options. My bill looked high but I initially didn’t say anything. I tipped 20% and then learned they added an 18% gratuity fee but made NO mention of this prior. There is also 5.25% supplemental fee that they could not explain except for credit card fees, I paid with a debit card and even Amex maxes out at 3.5%. So likely just pocketing 2 plus percent. Food was good but shady business on the payment side.

We visited Macho Taco Bar after church and we loved our experience there. The staff was so welcoming and kind. Our server Juanita, was as sweet as she could be. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable. The food… oh my word! The dishes that came out not only looked fantastic, but everything I tried was out of this world delicious. I loved the tamale and chicken street taco. I was also very impressed by how well the restaurant ran for being brand new.
10/10 highly recommend.

I loved it and local spot. Friendly atmosphere with some outdoor seating. Decorated nicely and some great food for the price. Very reasonable, and I enjoyed myself. Place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Handicap parking next to front door.
