Great food (Cinnamon roll French toast was excellent and the regular cinnamon roll looked excellent) & service! Manager was accommodating and waitress was super nice even though we had a large group (and had forgotten to get a reservation for the large group). She kept on top of things, made sure we were well taken care of, and we didn’t feel like a burden.
The shop there had a lot of cute items, and some very useful items (such as cracked hands cream that we got).

We loved this place!! So much food for the price which is rare these days. We should’ve skipped the appetizer, although it was good the family style sides and bread was delicious! Especially cottage cheese with fried apples and the sweet potato bread. I wished we live closer!

Some of the best cornbread I’ve ever had in a restaurant by far. The food was excellent, wait staff and hostess were attentive, great, and personable. The food portions were amazing. The adds that come with dinner for free of bread rolls, coleslaw, sliced and glazed apples, and delicious cornbread was a nice surprise. The meatloaf as you can see in the picture was good portions and delicious. The onion strings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. As my first time eating at a restaurant in Illinois I was very pleased and glad my friend suggested it. Three of us got to enjoy appetizers, great meals, our beverages and had to get doggy bags for $100. We ate Rib eye, chicken, and meatloaf with all the trimmings. To me the value was definetly there and the ambiance was great. The fact they also had a gift shop and fresh pies was just the perfect set up.

My girlfriend and I had lunch. I had the BBQ combo and she had the chicken tenders. The BBQ brisket was very good but the chicken and ribs were over cooked and dry. Stick with the brisket. The bring slaw and baked apples to the table with the bread and rolls.

The service was slow for only having a handful of tables being served. Once the food came out it seems like it had been sitting there for a little time as it was cold when it got to the table. Nice place but the slow service and cold food wasn’t great.

THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME! Thomas our waiter was very friendly and personable. He gave great suggestion in helping us pick. He told us about the gift shop. Here I was able to fulfill my desire for beautiful coffee cups. I would definitely recommend this place. The fixins were a great start before the meal and great beginning to breakfast the next day

Ordered as pick up. The Turkey Dinner. Large portion. Real turkey breast with stuffing. Sides were potato choice… veggie… cole slaw….cranberry sauce…roll…cinnamon apple slices…banana bread. Sooo much food. Everything cooked perfectly and still warm when I arrived home. I enjoyed it throughly. Only thing I want to mention is I thought the gravy was a little too salty but had a good flavor. I will definitely order this again. Thanks.

We usually love Machine Shed. My parents ask to go there when they come into town. We love the home-like atmosphere, their food is delicious. It’s a bang for your buck – portions are large for the price. We’ve only had good experiences up until Sunday.
We decided to order in for the first time, as I recently had a baby. We tried ordering online but not all the menu options are there (Reuben, brisket sandwich). I already had appetizers & 4 out of 6 meals added when I came across this problem. I called the order in at 3:30pm, the lady on the phone was very nice & said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I’m rating it 2 stars because my mom ordered a Reuben that was sent completely charred on both sides. The meat was inedible because it also tasted burnt. I couldn’t believe they had the audacity to send it looking that way. Like I said, we’ve only had good experiences so it was surprising to see her food arrive looking like that. The rest of our food was as expected & delicious. The manager is sending a voucher for a free meal, which is nice. However, it doesn’t make up for my mom not being able to eat her meal that night.
