Hands down, this is the most affordable place where you can get fresh and delicious sushi. Service is quick, customer service is amazing and they always treat my boyfriend and I like VIPs here. We’ve been coming here for 4 years and not once have we ever left feeling disappointed. I always recommend my friends and coworkers to this place and they love eating here just as much as we do. I would give them 100 stars if possible!

A little hole in the wall, barely 4 tables and a 4-top counter, with a grade-school kid in the corner building a new LEGO set, obviously family run. Clean, plastic forks and cups, easy listening j-pop music, wasn’t bothered unless I raised a hand/finger. If you need a break from the bustle of a busy day, this place is great.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times as my friend introduced it to me + it never disappoints. The first time I went on my own after church I tried Sushi for the 1st time I had Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a salmon cucumber rolls and they were so good my favorite is the Philadelphia Roll. Today I went w/ my friend and we had the Chicken Urbon Ramen soup (hopefully I spelled right, haha!) it was so good ☺️. Totally recommend

My first time ordering here and the food was fresh and delicious ! The gyoza were crispy , but not greasy and the filling tasted like chicken and onions . The dipping sauce was far too salty ( but it could be because I’m used to low sodium ‘ not sure ) . I will definitely be ordering again – this may just be my new favorite spot 😀

We had not had sushi in Philly in awhile and we were not impressed, kinda average. The food was good, don’t get me wrong. However the roll I had ordered used cucumber as the wrapping (nori). But it was good I guess I missed that detail
We were offered to sit anywhere and one of our guests picked by the door (which was open BTW). So many times vehicles and buses were nosey going by (along with the music inside was loud at times. I mean, next time I’ll have to remind myself to sit further back.
The only thing I might suggest might be bad was the service. It’s not like it was bad bad, but it was maybe just too relaxed for us. We knew what we were going to order, and had to wait. Then waited for asking about getting the check. Then waited for the chance to get the check. I’m not going to say anything super bad but the waitress was definitely taking care of multiple other things not just us. So maybe short staffed?
I think the prices for the combo of 2 or 3 was rather silly (on both types). There is zero savings on getting two or three that way unless maybe you get the most expensive but even then no!
I kinda thought a combo or multiple order for a single person would get some kind of discount. But according to the prices there basically is none. Oh well…
We left here for Mr Wish but that was a mistake. Maybe we should have tried the desserts here. Maybe next time! Staff was friendly.

My wife and I walked past this restaurant, did a double take and had a delicious meal. Both the salmon and eel sashimi were delightful. The veggie gyoza and dipping sauce were excellent. Their selection of rolls is not what you are used to. They have created some incredible flavor combinations. We enjoyed the Sexy City and Tropical rolls and there were others we cannot wait to try.

We enjoyed a delicious spur-of-the-moment dinner at Machi Sushi recently. Taking advantage of their all-day 3 rolls for $33.95, we got a Sexy City Roll, Dragon Roll, and Yummy Roll. For an appetizer, we had the Spicy Crispy Tuna Wontons and were even surprised to have some complimentary Mango Mochi Ice Cream for dessert.
As you can see the presentation was top-notch. More importantly, everything tasted fresh and delicious! While we dined in there were pickup/delivery orders being grabbed seemingly nonstop. Being new to Philly but having tried a few other places in the area, this is now amongst my go-to places for sushi!

Hands down my favourite sushi place in all of Philadelphia. I’ve been to so many different sushi locations in order to see if I can get a better deal or fresher or tastier sushi, but Machi really takes the cake. Everything here tastes amazing and it is really difficult to not eat like four bajillion rolls since it is really affordable. Some sushi purists might not be into the idea of a fried sweet potato sushi roll; however, I do recommend it even if you love the flavours of regular fish sushi. It’s a nice crispy, crunchy, sweet flavour that really compliments the umami tastes. Their three-roll special is all you need.
