Chicken soup was flavorful and full of chicken (both light and dark meat) and vegetables. Bread was a good Italian bread, crusty but not too and had a good texture.
I had traditional fettuccine Alfredo. It was a substantial portion! The noodles were properly cooked and the sauce was thick rich and creamy.
Simple but very good!

I’m sorry but this was truly a waste of money, I don’t suggest ordering from here around closing time… I’m hoping that is the only reason why there were chunks of meat in what was supposed to be meatballs & linguine.
If I was 99 years old, missing teeth and taste buds, the half of a Meatball I ate would have been fine, but since I can taste and enjoy chewing my food, I would have appreciated some actual meat taste and texture…Pasta sauce is not meant to “make the whole meal” and did nothing for the linguine’s texture either.
The rest of the food we ordered was ok at best and I don’t know about anyone else but old toasted Italian bread with chunks of garlic on it is not what I expect from a good Italian restaurant.
It could just be that I’ve been close to restaurants on the Hill for most of my life.

You will not find a better chicken escarole soup on the planet. All their soups and dinners are great, fresh and taste like you made them yourself at home. This is not frozen in a plastic bag like other restaurants do. I’ve seen first hand in their kitchen how they make everything. What a great restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!

I will start off with the warm delicious Italian bread and butter it was a true delight. The main entrees are huge in size and very fresh. The wait staff at this restaurant are very friendly and they have lots so the table was always clean and refills came quick. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant is beautifully decorated.

Delicious food, excellent service, charming decorum. However, the smell ofWindex being sprayed to clean the tables while guests are eating is very unpleasant. We go here atleast once a month.

We frequent this place often. The food is consistently good , I gave 4 stars as they got rid of their Italian bread for the table, and now give cold unappealing buns. The service is pretty good, sometimes a bit slow but nothing to bad. It is always decorated beautifully inside. Overall worth a visit!

To call this an Italian restaurant is a stretch. This is not quality Italian food by any means. We went here for lunch on a whim. Ordered a glass of wine and a dirty martini. Had the calamari, a bowl of soup and the eggplant parm. The calamari was dry and chewy. The eggplant parmigiana was thin eggplant sitting on a watery bed with essentially tomato sauce on top. No flavor other than tomato. Same with the pasta. Unfortunately this would not deserve a repeat visit nor a recommendation. Also, extra $5 charge for the “dirty” martini which is just olive juice. Yikes.

Beautiful ambiance. Our waitress was great. Went to the ladies room to wash hands before eating an the soap was out. Told the waitress and waited in the restroom for over 5 minutes with no one coming to refill it. I ended up using the men’s room. Our food was at the table by the time I returned.
The food came out quickly. The kids chicken and french fries were really good. The bread was fresh and I loved how they served it with room temperature butter. I enjoyed the cheese on the margherita pizza but the menu said marinara sauce and it came with sliced tomato, which I took off. The white clam chowder was okay. I also ordered the side of eggplant parmigiana and wasn’t a fan, it wasn’t bad, just didn’t like it. My husband got the chicken parmigiana and he didn’t like it.

Bring your appetite. The portions are significant. We had the calamari to start. This is a meal in itself. Added marinara for the side. Tasty breading in the calamari rings. Two glasses of red (Montelpulciano and Chianti). Pasta Fagioli side soup is tasty and filling. Stuffed eggplant with a side of pasta as well Seriously?!? Arrabiata sauce on bow ties. Good Lord! We are stuffed.

Soup was cold. Said it would be 40 minutes, took over an hour. Ordered a pasta dish with butter for my daughter and they gave a side. My husband even went over the order before hanging up. Now we know why we stopped going there.
