Tldr: restaurant served my family undercooked shrimp and I had to cause a mini scene for them to comp my whole meal.
Food is ridiculously overpriced for the fast casual atmosphere. Its like a step up over Panda Express. Decided to use my Bally Bucks here and ate with the family. Got the pork and shrimp noodles, honey walnut prawns and the fried dumplings. Everything came out pretty quick (subtle foreshadowing)
The noodle soup was okay. It needed more saltiness but thats why we have the soy sauce on other stuff on the table.
Shrimp came out last and it was creamy and not difficult to chew. In hindsight that should’ve been a sign that something was up but the price made me forget that people make mistakes.
Since the shrimp was $38 and theres no microwaves in the room, everything was gonna be eaten then and there.
Fast-forward,not being hungry anymore, I begrudgingly savored the last piece of the walnut “prawn.” It felt uncharacteristically soft for a fried dish. Turns out it was undercooked. I asked for the manager and the waitress preemptively voided the $38 dish.
I mentioned that that is not enough for a possible night of food poisoning. The self-proclaimed temp/sunday manager came and said her hands were tied and they could only void the shrimp dish. I had to raise my voice and mention the undercooked shrimp to the other diners.
They finally took all of the meal off after that. My Bally rewards would’ve paid for everything but its the principle of the matter…
Highly recommend the roast duck that comes a bit lightly deep fried. Savory & tender.
The fish here is also pretty good. Not much of a wait and the kitchen service is efficient.
This use to open till 5 am but not anymore. Need to double check late night hours.
Beef noodle soup is also a favorite with the local gamblers here.
The restaurant itself has a welcoming atmosphere, clean and comfortable, making it a perfect spot whether you’re dining with family, friends, or even solo. My personal favorite was the [insert your favorite dish, e.g., “Szechuan-style beef”], which had just the right amount of spice and depth of flavor. The dumplings were also outstanding—light, juicy, and delicious.
I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with excellent service!
-Ordered the Korean Noodles-18$
Then watched the person behind the bar open 68cents pack of ramen added hot water and bring it to where I was seated-
Cost was 18$
Ordered large prawns in walnut sauce-44$
Was brought medium to small shrimp covered in mayonnaise – unbearable to eat
Charged 44$
Ordered vegetable spring rolls-14$
Brought 3 rolls the size of my thumb
Was charged 14$
Emphasis on cost compared to quality was beyond disappointing despite being inside of a casino-
Could never recommend
