It’s a really neat place. Old fashioned soda fountain, outstanding ice cream, food food. We had the BLT, Hawaiian Cole slaw. Flavored sodas and shared a banana split. Very traditional, vanilla/pineapple topping, Chocolate/Chocolate syrup, strawberry/strawberry topping. Lots of whipped cream. They topped it with some candy sprinkles. Not sure if they do chopped nuts, that would have been perfect. Great tasting old fashioned hard ice cream. Best split we’ve had.
They are open for lunch 11am-3pm Monday through Thursday and 11am-8pm Friday and Saturday. Give them a try! Great to take family and visitors for some great ice cream!

One of the most unique diners with the perfect vintage vibe. Here on vacation from Florida visiting my Volkswagen friends & we have come here at least 5 times. The food is delicious. We tried the club , the Rueben, the potato salad and the fries. We also tried the James dean ice cream soda, the cherry phosphate was so good and unique. The papa Tom’s ice cream Sunday was mouth watering. The authentic home made ice cream with the salty sweet flavors. I will think about this place every day til I get to come back here again. They also have two antique shops you can walk through and purchase from inside. By far one of the coolest diners I’ve ever found

What a great place! This little dinner/Soda Fountain/Antique store is amazing. We had the Grashopper and Wallace and Ladmo Sundae. What a great tribute to them and for those of us who grew up in Arizona will for a moment in time remember watching The Wallace and Ladmo Show weekdays on KPHO Channel 5. We would hurry home from school to watch it. If you were lucky enough to be in the live audience you might have received a Ladmo Bag. There’s plenty of nostalgia to take you back to a less hectic and technological time. The prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic. So many options to choose from it would take forever to list.
After you are done you can stroll through the store and enjoy the antiques and reminisce about days gone bye. Many things I remembered my Grand parents having or that I still have.
Overall a great experience and we will be back.

I’ve been coming here since I was about 10 Years Old Way back in 1989. They have always kept the place in the exact same condition, and it’s one of my most favorite memories and nostalgic things to revisit. It’s so good to see the same faces here after all these years, and to the family for keeping it open through all of your hardships. Blessings on you and yours, and thank you for sharing a piece of your delicious love for food, and history with the citizens of Phoenix for so long.

Amazing! My 92 year old dad remembered it was the Mac Alpine’s Drugstore. It hasn’t changed hardly at in the 40 years since he was there last. We had the Reuben, a cheeseburger & our 3rd person had a club sandwich. All with fries. He loved his root beer float & we shared a chocolate milkshake. All delicious & big portions. Don’t miss the antique shop through the hallway a real time machine experience!!

This is such a fun little place. There’s many options for the ice cream floats. All kinds of soda flavors! The pies are to die for. The Naughty Pecan is one we get every visit and we get the whole pie for Thanksgiving. It’s the best I’ve ever had. This is a hidden gem. A small, family owned diner that shows the friendliness of your neighbors. The owner chats with us every time we are there. The atmosphere is different and old time classic. The burger is yummy! And my daughter gets a Sundae that’s delicious every time!! If you are looking for fancy and expensive, this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for character and resilience, you’ve got to try it out.

Been meaning to check this place out for like a year or 2 now. I like old soda shop type restaurants. Had day off so drove up. Had the sloppy Joe and a creamsicke milkshake. Both were so good.

Cute 50’s diner vibe! Great, hot, tasty food and fantastic service and pretty comparably reasonably priced menu! Really cute antique store attached! One of our family favorites every time we take tabs to Ronald McDonald House!
