If you haven’t tried Ma and Pa’s Tex-Mex BBQ, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best hidden gems in town. This place has quickly become a local favorite, and after one visit, you’ll totally get why.

First of all, the portion sizes are out of this world. We’re talking massive plates loaded with high-quality, flavorful food—and at prices that are more than reasonable. You get so much for what you pay, and honestly, it puts places like Chipotle to shame. The burritos here are not only way bigger, but they’re also packed with more flavor and better ingredients. That goes for pretty much everything on the menu—from the tacos to the brisket and sides, everything is next-level.

The service is fast and super friendly. It’s the kind of place where the staff seems to know half the customers by name, and they really make you feel welcome. Even when it’s busy, they keep things moving.

Just keep in mind—it’s a small place with limited seating, so if you’re planning to eat there during a rush, it can get crowded. Ordering ahead during peak hours is definitely the move, especially if you’re trying to avoid a wait.

All in all, Ma and Pa’s is hands-down the best Tex-Mex and BBQ combo in the area. Generous portions, killer flavors, and that warm local charm—you really can’t ask for more.

The chips were definitely the highlight — fresh, flavorful, and easily the best part of the meal. The birria tacos, however, leaned a bit mild for my taste and were very cheese-forward, which made them feel less traditional than I was expecting. The quesadillas were similar — lots of cheese, but I wish there had been a better balance so the meat flavors could really shine through. Overall, I’d describe it as a more Americanized take on Mexican cuisine.

1st time here. Greetings as soon as as you walk in Very lovely friendly staff ! Food was cooked to order and fresh. You get a bag of homemade tortillas chips and sides of salsa (we chose the spicy-but it fell a little short on the spice) ordered the brisket tacos a side of rice and the chicken quesadilla. The quesadillas were very large and overstuffed. Quite good flavors . The brisket tacos were very good the meat had a nice smoke flavor as well. So a different taco experience than your average place. Tacos were stuffed with fresh veggies as well. The rice was amazing. Cooked perfectly and delicious flavor. Just wish the salsa was spicier and less of overpowering tomato than a blend of multiple flavors. Overall very good food. Definitely FRESH AND PLENTIFUL. The staff stood out and were so polite! Will return for sure and try other items on the menu. Plus side it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy our food at the covered picnic area ! Huge plus.

Ma & Pa’s Tex-Mex BBQ is a real local treasure in Rancocas Woods. Their flavorful tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and BBQ-inspired Tex-Mex dishes are fresh, generous, and delicious — perfect whether you grab takeout or enjoy it at the picnic tables nearby.

What I especially love is the family energy and passion behind the food. You can taste the care in every bite, and the welcoming vibe makes it feel like part of the neighborhood — not just another stop.

Local spots like this are part of what makes our town such a great place to live.

Pass here every time I go to my dr, so today I decided to stop and check it out. OMG the food is amazing and very flavorful. You can see them cooking. Got hubby the chicken burrito bowl (Mexican rice, black beans, grill chicken, Pico & onions. It was sooo good especially with that green sauce. It was huge. Daughter got skirt steak tacos (4 in order) seasoned perfect, make sure you put the grill onions on them. I got the braised beef brisket bairra, melt in my mouth. Got to dip in the compo sauce. The home made chips got a seasoning on them that taste real good. will definitely go back.

Came in for a quick snack on a Saturday around 3pm. Not crowded at all during that time. The place is a really small interior with no places to sit except outside on picnic tables with umbrellas. After ordering you’re given a beeper to pick up your food when ready.

Cashier was a bit smug but friendly enough. We decided to get the chicken nachos. Didn’t have to wait too long for it to be done. The nachos were awesome. Crispy chips and the veggies were super fresh. I like that the cheese sauce is on the side to prevent your nachos from getting soggy.

The chicken was flavorful had good texture. Great flavors and good quantity for the price. Looking forward to coming back when I’m in town to try their other dishes.

First thing: THANK. YOU. FOR. CORRECTLY. ROLLING. YOUR. BURRITO. it’s the most beautifully rolled burrito I’ve ever had. I have a big thing about badly rolled burritos and I was incredibly impressed by how well this burrito is rolled. It’s amazing.
Second thing: this food is bangin’

Nice local tex mex place, last time I was here I could smell them from the bookstore I visited. I didn’t stop then but made a point to drop by on this visit. I got the brisket nachos and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were some of the best I’ve had. I liked that they were grilled instead of fried. And also kudos for the way they packed the nachos. Even though I ate outside, they make everything Togo as there is no inside seating. They give you the nacho cheese in a separate container as to not make your chips soggy before you get a chance to enjoy them. Even the chips themselves were fresh, crispy and well seasoned. They were a little pricey for a lunch, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I had to try all the things.

I ordered 3 burritos to feed my family of 5 and it was perfect. They are huge and absolutely delicious. Even though the little village was busy when I went, there was parking right in front of Ma&Pa’s. They had a very large order ahead of mine, so were running a few minutes behind, but they assured me it wouldn’t be long and it wasn’t bad at all. The 2 employees behind the counter weren’t very friendly but not rude or anything, maybe just really tired. The cook in the back was friendly. I will definitely be back. The food is amazing.
