One of the best breakfast experiences in the metro. They do allow smoking (which didn’t bother us), but have a separate room for non-smoking. We chose the nostalgia of the smoking room. The service was prompt and friendly, and every thing we had was excellent. We shared a large order of biscuits & gravy–which I use as a benchmark for how good a restaurant does breakfast–and they were excellent. You can get A LOT of food for the price. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast if you don’t mind cigarette smoke. Hopefully we can try their lunch menu soon.

Good lil neighborhood restaurant. There are two sides one smoking and other non-smoking. Still pricy but you get ample portion of food. People in the eatery were conversing and the floors were being swept while we were eating, I am aware the person doing the sweeping is doing their job, but dust and food are not a good taste. The food was hot when served and tasted good.

Our waitress, Renee, was fantastic and friendly. The food was exceptional. We had catfish, a Philly cheese steak, and hamburger steak w mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was great.

Very affordable. Great options. This is a “locals” joint. This place is EVERYTHING a greasy spoon should be. Great food options.
The dining area feels like you are in someone’s passion not a restaurant. Very comforting.
Don’t let the location throw you
They do smoke in here.

We went here for breakfast as a table of five with two of us being kiddos. The kids loved it here and so did the adults. The prices were super reasonable and the experience was great all around. The food was what you’d want and expect for diner food. I ordered the fried egg sandwich and I wasn’t super happy with it. Three of the five ate something with gravy and all said “It was good but tastes like it came from a package.” This would be a great place to go to catch breakfast or lunch. We were not disappointed and the kiddos loved looking at the decorations.

Seated very quickly in the non smoking side. Server was attentive and quick! Food came out extremely fast and was very good! Hidden gem in shopping lot stuck in the corner. Easy to miss so make sure you know where to look! We’d definitely go again and again. If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot.

In Claycomo, This restaurant provides excellent breakfast options at a budget friendly price, invoking a quaint, rural atmosphere reminiscent of a small-town diner. Worth noting is that Claycomo allows smoking in the restaurants; however, a non-smoking section is provided, which we found out later.

Came in with my manns and was not disappointed. A nice calm environment. Staff is very friendly. They allow smoking on one side and non-smoking on the other. The food was amazing and the dessert was even better. Will definitely be a regular spot for us to eat.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food and service! Our favorite was the grilled cheese (though the other food was great too). Our waitress Dallis (I’m not sure how it’s spelled) was also amazing. Highly recommend!
There’s a smoking section and a non-smoking section. We chose the non-smoking section and enjoyed it very much.

Old school diner vibe with home cooked food. Each booth features a different decor theme, mine was Harley Davidson. I got a kick out of the tire rim ceiling fan. Funky and something not seen before. I was told their biscuits and gravy are to die for and they proved right. Light and fluffy with sharp and creamy sausage gravy. I ordered the Hungry Pa’s with over medium eggs, bacon, and country chunks. Eggs were perfectly cooked so I could mix the yolks with the country chunks which were golden and crispy.
