Ma Lupe’s is the kind of Mexican restaurant that I want every other mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant in America to aspire to be. These days, I eye-roll at “authenticity” as a culinary concept, but I’m all for getting closer to the originally envisioned recipe without feeling as if someone wants me to nod my head and acknowledge it. Ma Lupe’s just wants to serve me a good meal.

This place has some of the best seafood in the valley.. out of all the businesses in that current location, Ma Lupes has been there the longest and has done very well. So well that they plan on opening a 2nd location here in the valley.. 2nd location may already be opened, but I’m not completely sure

Long wait, a little pricey for average food, also no free chips and salsas like most Mexican food places especially with the long wait to receive your food. Our server was friendly. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

Made a phone order, was told it was going to be ready in 15 min. I showed up 25 min. later food wasn’t ready. I got my food 35 min after I had shown up. When I got up to ask if it’ll be longer so I can ask for a refund, the manager desperately attempted to hurry the cook which tells me my food was never being made till I reminded them. I waited in line to get my money back but the manager rushed at me to hand me the poorly made rushed food. Definitely not going back. The servers we nice and even one of them knew that it was talking to long and you can tell she felt bad.
