Absolutely delicious! I love Ethiopian food. I’ve had it at numerous restaurants. Ma-Ed is one of the top places I’ve been. The bread is fluffy and moist and the flavors of all dishes in the combo are amazing! My only feedback would be to add the beet dish or Key Sir Alicha. Yum !!

Came to ma/ed yesterday and got the injera lasagna. This was my first time eating Ethiopian food and it was definitely an amazing experience! The lady working there was so sweet and patient with me. The spices left a nice sensation in my mouth. The smell of the food is very nice in a way I can almost taste it. I will surely come back to maed and eat more!! Definitely recommend.

I love this place, I believe it is the best vegan Ethiopian food in Oregon. Nothing else I’ve tried has come close to their food. I hope you will open again and that you are doing okay. Came to the food carts for your food but saw you were gone. Wishing you the best <3

Really quite good. Every bit as good as some of the NE spots. The West side has been so painfully lacking a variety of cuisines, Ethiopian top among them. This place should be busy! If you’ve never had Ethiopian, give this place a try!

I crave this place on the daily! The service is amazing, and the food is delicious. I always order the veggie combo when I get lunch, and snack on the leftovers through the remainder of the day. Every bite is full of flavor, and the injera is so yummy!

Injer is fresh fluffy and beautiful… Disappointed on spice. Feel like they made it for white people, only taste onion and garlic for the most. Still okay but not authentic….Where is the heat and spice from the mother land?

Delicious food served by a caring person. I could eat this all day! We tried all dishes for $18 and shared it. Husband agrees it was delicious. So healthy. Vegan and delicious. I can’t wait to return!

The owner was kind enough to explain to me how the menu worked. This was my first time ordering Ethiopian cuisine and she made it far less intimidating. The food was incredibly delicious and packed with savory goodness with a hint of smoked spiciness. The item I ordered ended up being enough for 3 meals and the leftovers were also incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough.

So bomb. The algilgel was so unique and interesting. Reminded me of an Ethiopian-style pizza cake lasagna. Really yummy! The injera was really fluffy and fresh.

Ma-Ed is SO DELICIOUS! They serve vegetarian dishes but said they’re looking to add some meat in the future. I had the Agelgil, injera layered with your choice of dishes, which makes it easy to eat. I’ll definitely be back!
