Went here for the first time tonight and loved it. Generous portions, fast and friendly service, and fun atmosphere. Had the mushroom swiss burger, added fries and coleslaw. Dinner partner had a greek omelet with hash browns and sourdough bread. Food came out very hot. When we accidentally odered the wrong omelet they prepared another one at no extra charge even though it was our fault. Will go back again for sure. Will try the soup menu next as they offer four flavors.

Love this new restaurant! Good old home cooking. Burgers are weighed, not a frozen premade patty. Patty Melt is excellent! Reuben is excellent! Irish bowl is excellent! Loved the French Onion Soup! Loved the chicken noodle soup! Soups are homemade from scratch! Chef Carson, she has it! An Amazing chef! She’s down to earth! She makes everything with love! So great! She personally hand me the Irish Bowl! She makes it with so much love! This woman knows how to cook! She loves coming out and being personal, seeing all the smiles from customers enjoying her meals. Pancakes and sausage are delicious! Our children enjoy them and the fries the most! I love seeing nice and big fries cook to perfection! Amazing prices! Every bite is worth every penny! We love Alyssa and Brenda is nice. The owners are super friendly. All down to earth people who just love their customers! Other places are disappointing and for the same price, come in and eat at the M85 Diner! You won’t regret it! The BEST homecoming Downriver! We been here at least three times and each time has been so enjoyable! We got the carrot cake and salted caramel cake to go! They order their cakes from a local bakery! Delicious!

Wonderful job on the new remodel of the old Eldorado restaurant on Fort in Wyandotte. New comfortable booths and lighting makes for a pleasant visit. The new owners bought the building, in it for the long haul. Marvelous first experience, hours only till 3 pm soft opening. Started with Chicken n Dumplings Soups and French Onion Soup with melted Provolone Cheese on top outstanding Delicious . I had the proper Club Sando on the menu with Ham Turkey and Bacon on Marble Rye toast OMG . Most places only give you Turkey n Bacon NOT A CLUB SANDWICH. She had a mega bowl of Mac n Cheese topping with marinaded Char Grilled Chicken Wowed, plenty to share. Thanks to Alysaa for the five star service , you rock. I just added them to Yelp and Google, don’t see a Facebook page yet. I’ve never been more delighted to update a review, my previous one was a bit harsh but caring. Since then the food quality, atmosphere and portions have improved vastly. My previous issue was only a circumstantial experience it seems, staff remains lovely and friendly even if we did arrive slightly late. I appreciate it dearly, waitress was also very patient with my stutter which is always a good bonus!

We ate breakfast here recently and had a mixed experience. Right off the bat, our first server told us they don’t sell cappuccinos, even though the machine was clearly visible at the bar. Another server who overheard the conversation informed us that they do sell them, which was confusing.
My French toast was unfortunately not good, it was very eggy and unpleasant to eat. On the positive side, my husband enjoyed his meal and had no complaints.
We were also not informed that checkout is done up front, so we sat with our card on the table for over 15 minutes waiting. When we finally asked for assistance, another server gave us noticeable attitude, which didn’t help the situation.
The cook did come out to ask how the food was, which was appreciated, but at that point I was just ready to leave and didn’t mention the French toast.
The restaurant definitely has potential, but between the service miscommunication and food inconsistency, it wasn’t the best experience.

The food was pretty dang good, I love the car themed interior of the place and menu items. Good prices, big portions, Our waitress was very polite, kind and really on top of her game! This is absolutely a no brainer, Will be back again very soon

Me and my girlfriend tried the M-85 Diner today. We were both really impressed. First off, when you walk in it’s a fun atmosphere. The menu is even fun because of the names they give the food. Next, the staff were all great. More importantly, the food was really good. I also really liked the fact that they advertised local businesses on their tables.
We will definitely go there again and I highly suggest it!

First time there was very good, good vibe & service. Second visit yesterday was mediocre in food & service. Half day of school in Wyandotte schools, so employees kids were all over the place, climbing on booths, handling condiments on empty tables, behind the cake display, generally acting out throughout the dining room. One child stood at our table while the mom was attempting to take our order. We had to wait on our meals because our server was in the restroom attending to her so. I have no idea if sanitary conditions were adhered to. Meals had cold Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy. Nowhere near as good as prior visit. Was very disappointed with stop yesterday & would not recommend. I don’t dislike children, but my bill for one meal with cake was almost $30 plus a tip. I expect hot, freshly prepared entrees, prompt service & a reasonable sanitary environment. That did not take place . Won’t be back anytime soon.
