The food was incredibly fresh and well-prepared — every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. You can really tell they pay attention to quality, especially the sushi and sashimi.
What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Our server Katie was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made us feel very welcome, checked in at all the right times, and gave great recommendations. Her positive attitude and professionalism really elevated the entire meal.
Overall, fantastic food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. Huge thanks to Katie and the team — we’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

the sushi set (scallop, shrimp, and salmon) and the goose liver sushi is exceptional. The rest are also good, but not that amazing, probably becoz there is no surprise.
the taste of urchin cream udon is weak, I can bearly tasted anything, not to mention the urchin, but the texture of the udon is good. Maybe the favor from the scallion is too strong.

This is the second time I came to this place within one week, really love the food here! Everything was great. Highly recommend the uni sashimi (so fresh!!), the uni foie gras toast, and the Aburi set.

Really enjoyed this sushi place. The food was very fresh and tasted great, especially the seafood. You can tell the quality is good and everything was prepared carefully.

I went because the restaurant was offering a free birthday cake with proof of birthday, honestly the sushi was decent but way too overpriced for what it was!
We ordered:
Wagyu Fried Rice $30
Aburi Sushi Set $38
Volcano Scallop Roll $17
2 kinds of Yakitori $20
1 bottle of sake $25
Total was $125 with a 10% off promo they had, $70 a person with tip, not worth it to me!
Gave it shot, it’s a solid 6.5/10, service was slow and they forgot one item, but all good

Great sushi spot in Richmond if you’re willing to spend a few extra bucks!
We ordered the following for two:
– uni cream udon
– volcano scallop roll
– red n blue roll
– hamachi sashimi (6 piece)
– aburi sushi combo (2 orders)
– ube puree ice cream (2 orders)
– x1 beer for myself
Everything tasted great and the quantity was just enough for 2 people. The only item I wasn’t a huge fan of was the uni cream udon, to me it just tasted like mac n cheese sauce on udon noodles…but it wasn’t too bad.
My favorite was the Red n Blue roll. It was fresh and delicious! I also enjoyed the ice cream dessert with the ube noodles thing on top of (matcha flavoured?) ice cream.
Service was good as well. We got seats as soon as we walked in on a Friday night. Surprisingly this place wasn’t busy on a Friday night, perhaps it was the price of their menu, but either way it worked out for us! Servers were attentive and friendly.
Only con would be the location. Parking here is brutal during dinner time on weekends since it’s located in a small lot.
Overall I would recommend this place if you want some great quality sushi and other Japanese food and don’t mind spending a little more…ok maybe a lot more .

Decent sushi place to try out! Sashimi don was decent and the Salman Oshi was good. They make there’s a bit different as they had little flakes on the top of it (I enjoyed it).
The prices are a bit on the higher end compared to other sushi restaurants though. Thought the ice cream was okay, just not worth $10.

First time here. The customized sashimi platter is excellent, love every piece! Foie Gras is awesome too! Actually to me, it’s better than most Japanese restaurants I’ve tried in Vancouver/Richmond area.
Sashimi is absolutely outstanding. The quality of the fish is exceptional, and it’s fresh. The cuts are so delicate and melt-in-your-mouth. It’s clear that great care has been taken in selecting and preparing the ingredients. I’m thoroughly impressed with the flavors and the presentation. This is definitely some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had.

Tried the oshi sushi lunch set ($23.95). The sashimi was standard, the miso soup was good, but the oshi sushi just tasted like mayonnaise. In fact, the layer of mayonnaise was so thick, it was thicker than the fish layer. The presentation however was very nice and beautiful. Overall, an average sushi experience.
