The grilled shrimp were great with pasta salad and fresh vegetables. I waited more than 30 minutes to get my food on a busy Saturday evening. The outdoor patio area was nice and had screened windows to keep away any bugs.

Prices were 25% to 50% lower here (depending on the item) than in Virginia and Maryland and the food was better. My husband and I ordered the grilled scallops and tuna and shared. They were both wonderful. Very friendly bartender and local diners. Highly recommend.

Food was great, we tried the shrimp and scallop penne and the crab meat sandwich. Service was good but kinda slow since it looked busy for a Monday night and may have been understaffed. Either way, it took a long while for the food and check to come but server was sweet.
They have dinner specials so it would help to take a picture since it’s a long list. They also have a small bar area and outdoor seating.

This delightful place in this tiny town, the sailing capital of North Carolina, is nestled on “Water” street, just next to the harbor. Good food at reasonable prices, and excellent service. Quite a pleasant surprising find, and oh, so very much better than any of the fast food places.
Still a lovely place! Calm and quiet. Great food at reasonable prices. This was our 4th visit. We drive an hour to get there, and will go back again. It is our refuge from the “storms” of life.

Food and atmosphere were great. The servers were friendly but it took a very long time to get our food. They were very busy and likely short staffed. I would eat here again, with the expectation that it may take more time than I am used to for a meal.

Pet sitting with 2 cats and 2 parrots in Oriental. The folks I was sitting for took me the night before the sit started and I returned for lunch on my own a few days later. Very good food, friendly people, pleasant environment but nothing special. I had the soft shell crab special – 2 nicely fried small crabs, potato salad and creamed spinach for sides. All of the food was very good. Too often potato salad is made with miracle whip instead of mayo and is too sweet. This potato salad was not too sweet. Soft shell crab was so good that I ordered a sandwich special when I went back for lunch.

What an outstanding food find!!! This place is in Oriental, NC and is a must visit. I found a delicious new beer to drink. The calamari was excellent my crab roll was to die for. Mom had the Cubano that was different but amazing. The chocolate cake was fabulous. Service was outstanding and friendly. Thanks Taylor!!! She pointed out that she learned how to be a good server from her boss Dave. (Got your back T!)

Very laid back atmosphere and food was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. Amazing flavors. A little spendy but worth it. Will definitely be back. Our waitress was awesome as well she did an awesome job accommodating our 2 picky toddlers.

A family member from Raleigh suggested we try M&Ms and it was GREAT!!! We had the crab rolls and they were delicious! The rolls were full of crab!!! We would definitely return when we are in the area. Service was excellent also. Mya and Shelby were so nice to us. I definitely recommend the crab rolls for sure. This was our first experience, since we live in Florida, but we will be back!
