This is a small diner with a warm and cozy vibe. For friendly service, reasonable prices, and tasty down home food it can’t be beat. She had gravy over biscuits with bacon/potato soup and I had wild rice and chicken soup with grilled sandwich — all very tasty. And it’s comforting to know places like this still exist.

I went here as a kid in the early 1950’s… Nothing has changed! The burgers are still great!

The food here is incredible. One of the best tune melts I’ve ever had. They have amazing farm-fresh jam ready to go. Homemade pie. Super friendly staff. If you ever find yourself in Monticello you should definitely stop here for lunch. Or drive to Monticello just to eat here because it’s definitely worth it.
