Cute little bakery in historic Cumberland. We stopped for gas in the area then decided to see if we could find a bakery & this was the first place that popped up. We arrived around 9:45 so the selection was minimal but I was able to score a peach turnover, peanut butter donut, sugar twist & honey dip twist. The peach pastry was phenomenal- light, flaky crust and filled with juicy peaches. The donuts were a fresh & delicious but my favorite was the honey dip. We ate outside in the little courtyard by the fountain and while we were there a long line formed and I couldn’t help but hope that everyone in line had called ahead because there wasn’t even 2 dozen donuts left. We’ll definitely be back.

Besides selling fresh donuts this place is the only one in Cumberland that is open at 6:00 AM. So if you are planning to hit the trail early, this spot is your breakfast place!

Get there early daily! Absolutely blown away how good their food tastes. Cookies cakes and other bakery treats! Cheap too! I got filled up on $5 worth. And I still took something to go!

Our favorite local bakery! Year’s of traditional treats remind me of my childhood and the owner/operator is a great guy.

While stopping to view the historic downtown we saw some “locals” rotating through this little bakery on a brisk Friday morning. We thought best stop and check it out. Obviously a limited selection of baking but all obviously fresh out of the oven and delicious. We picked up a twist and fritter for a dollar each and munched our way down the street. Treat yourself to a delicious baked good if you are ever in this historic town.

When visiting to your home town, M&M’s is a must do. Always fresh, always delish…best doughnuts within 100 mile radius easy. I called in to get cupcakes and they made them special order and I picked them up in 30 minutes. That’s why hometown bakeries are the best!! Go early because they do sell out, especially on Saturdays… they also close at noon and only take cash or check, no credit cards but it is WORTH IT!

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday party and sent pictures of what I wanted it to look like to one of the staff members. She was very friendly as was the woman who rung me up and brought me the cake when I picked it up, but the woman who made the cake was very rude. When I asked why it didn’t look like the pictures I sent, she was very short with me about why she couldn’t do it. This was for the top of the cake. But when I got home and looked at the sides, they were not done like I requested either. She left them plain white. The whole cake looked NOTHING like what I requested. Colors, design, nothing. The woman who actually brought the cake to me was apologetic, but I walked out of the shop pretty upset. On top of that, I feel that they should’ve communicated the circumstance to me before I walked in the shop to pay for and pick up the cake. I know that this bakery has been around a while and they are very well liked, but this was the first time I personally have used their business and I was very disappointed.

Their buttercream donuts are the best I have had, I was lucky to have a change to stop by before my train arrived. I was able to get an amazing selection of freshly baked donuts for under 0.70 cents each. Well worth the price, I only wish they made donuts like these in Baltimore.
