Ordered the small for 2 (+a child). The portions were great for us. Came with rice, kimchi, veggies, steamed egg and tofu soups. No tipping, 10% is added to the check already. Servers cook your meats which is very convenient. Next time we’ll try the mix set with beef. Their barley tea is served iced and has a nutty taste, almost like coconut. Really enjoyed that refreshing drink with all the fatty meat. BBQ is a la carte.

Hands down the best Korean BBQ I’ve had in LA so far. I dined here on a Saturday for lunch at the front by the glass doors along with a few other groups, but the restaurant is large enough to accommodate a dinner rush. The space is very modern with minimal decorations and features a patio with a fire pit. Everything we ate was delicious, from the meat grilled by your server, to the various side dishes and barley tea. The sheer number of dishes on the table was impressive and created a creative environment to enjoy something different with every bite. My favorite was pairing the tofu wrappers with kimchi, green onions, and the boneless short rib.

Well trained servers rotated through all the tables, flipping and cutting our meat with scissors as necessary. I appreciated that the restaurant opted for a no tipping policy and instead charged a flat 10% fee, especially given the higher price of the meal, which brought me to $49 for a lavish and extremely filling meal that I thought was worth every penny. Note that this is located on the top floor of an open air mall with free parking available in an attached multi-tier deck.

right next to the bbq but they are a separate area from the kbbq
so there was a bit of confusion bc we didnt want kbbq but misoolkwan is for a la carte food.
the food is great and serving sizes were HUGE!! we ordered bulgogi (stew style like on bibimbap), seafood pancakes (SO GOOD and PACKED), and rose carbonara ramen/tteokbokki and that was also very good – sausage was great!

loved the decor too very traditional korean streets vibe and super nice! staff were a bit hard to get ahold of when we went.

Went here to hang out with my relatives and we ordered a bunch of food for the table.

The rose toekbokki and mung bean beef dish were great but this Cheesy corny creamy pancake situation was an incredible experience. Its like a cheesy dip that they cooked into pizza shape.

I had such a great experience here!
We ordered a seafood pancake, a two-person BBQ set, and the premium beef tongue — everything was fresh, flavorful, and grilled perfectly. The seafood pancake was crispy and packed with ingredients , and the premium beef tongue was super tender and totally worth it ✨.

I also tried their Pompeii drink — SO good! Refreshing, not too sweet, and perfect with BBQ.

Service was excellent too ✨ The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Delicious food, great vibes, generous portions — I’ll definitely come back!

A nice Korean pub affair with a charming aesthetic and large portions for rather expensive food. Although the prices may seem big (in 2023, what isn’t), do have a look around first to see what the portion size is. The portions are fairly generous, and it should also be noted.

It should also be noted that there is a forced 10% fee on top of the food, but no tip – so even though it seems pricey it’s a flat fee.

Good food, though not that many options for people who don’t like spicy things, and limited options for vegetarian and vegan stuff.

On the smaller side of restaurants, I wouldn’t expect to fit a group above 10 super easily.

This place is probably one of my favorite BBQ places now to go during special occasions. Though, the price is a bit high, it totally worth it. The wait might be a bit long too but I think it’s standard for any good restaurant in OC nowadays. We ordered a combo and an extra portion of beef tongue and it costs ~$50/person for a party of 4. The staff will cook for you so that’s a pros but also cons. The pro is you don’t have to do anything and just be there to eat. The con is sometimes they are busy with other tables and might not be fully serving you. The side dishes here are sooo delicious, took a bit long to refill but you can just mass order them because the portion is fixed and premade so they only come out as a tiny portion.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely return here when the time comes.

We visited this place with my cousins in California, we enjoyed dinner and the company. The place looks cozy, the service was ok. Not a fan of flavored water that they served, the food was good. I enjoyed the pork belly and the fried chicken. The clam soup was good too!

Got the beef combo here, the brisket tasted extremely dry even though it wasn’t overcooked. The beef tongue was my favorite cut of beef here that we tried.

Had a weird interaction with someone who brought out our pitcher of beer. We asked if he could bring us beer glasses but he responded that he doesn’t work here, only at the bar/ as a bartender.

If you’re looking for a fantastic Korean BBQ experience, M Korean BBQ in Buena Park is a top-tier choice that won’t disappoint. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and the delightful aroma of sizzling meats.

The star of the show at M Korean BBQ is undoubtedly the food. The menu offers a wide variety of high-quality meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. Each cut of meat is well-marinated and incredibly flavorful. The all-you-can-eat option is a great value, allowing you to sample a bit of everything.
The banchan (side dishes) are plentiful and delicious, with a mix of traditional Korean favorites such as kimchi, pickled vegetables, and seasoned bean sprouts. The dipping sauces provided complement the meats perfectly, enhancing the overall flavor.
