Stopped into M.B. Haskett in downtown Sioux Falls. About a 20-minute wait, which felt reasonable given how busy it was on a Saturday morning.
I had the crepe with gruyère, ham, and spinach, topped with a sunny egg. The crepe was well made and the seasoning was spot on, generously salted in a way that elevated the flavors. The runny egg tied everything together and made it a really satisfying breakfast.
Good coffee, a comfortable space, and food that’s clearly done with care. A solid spot downtown and one I’d gladly return to.

My all time favorite place for breakfast. I think I’ve had everything, it’s all excellent, but my go to is the classic crepe with a sunny egg and a side salad. The truffle vinaigrette is where it’s at. I could bathe in the stuff. Do not skip this – you won’t be disappointed. And if they’re ever running their eggs Benedict special I highly encourage you to get it.

Amazing! I really enjoyed the tea selection, and the green tea I got was great. I tried the savory crêpe, which was perfect in my opinion! I’ve been thinking about this crêpe for weeks!
I sat at the bar, so I got to watch the employees make everything. I found this quite fascinating, and it made for a really enjoyable experience.
It was busy at 12pm on a Sunday, but that was to be expected. Who wouldn’t want to eat here?!

Came here to try the burger for the burger battle and it was great! Loved the atmosphere and a lot of stuff looked tempting on the menu. So I’ll definitely be back!

We were too full to try the crepes, but their iced lattes, American breakfast, and croque madame (like eggs Benedict, but with gruyere in the sauce) breakfast were amazing! Very tiny place and really good, a little pricier, but still recommend!

Premier but semi undiscovered local Hotspot. On par with the top restaraunts in the area, but with a small niche restaurant feel. You can’t go wrong eating here.

Upon arrival, we were asked for a reservation, which we hadn’t made. Although the reservation book appeared mostly open, the staff initially seemed hesitant before seating us. We mentioned it was our first visit and requested a table with a nice view of the interior; however, we were seated at the very back of the restaurant with a view limited to the ceiling.
The establishment is intimate, with approximately eight tables and four bar seats. While the service was efficient, the atmosphere felt slightly dismissive. On a positive note, the staff highlighted that all dishes are house-made. While the flavors were enjoyable, the portion sizes felt modest relative to the price point. Based on the ratings, our expectations were slightly higher, but we would consider returning—with a reservation next time—to see if the experience improves.

Very cool atmosphere and feel, there’s outdoor seating in front and behind. The food was real good, we had the eggs Benedict and a crepe with mixed berries. The crepe was decent, my least favorite part of the meal. The coffee was decent as well. I gave this place 5 stars for the service and ambiance.

Cute place in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls where everything you want to try is at like Blarney Stone and Josiah’s cafe and so much more. Atmosphere is nice and it’s a nice favorite local for brunch. The staff were so wonderful allowing me to stay after closing to get something important done. Really meant a lot to me. Thank you so much for your kindness. The crepe (I ordered the Seasonal Vegetarian Crepe) which was good and had mozzarella cheese, yellow peppers, tomatoes, spinach, balsamic vinegar. The crepe itself was very good but just not enough filling so I felt like it was mostly the crepe even though the crepe is very yummy. There was a really thin thin slice of mozzarella cheese about 1mm in thickness that didn’t cover 85% of the whole crepe meal area. The Asian noodle salad which is offered during lunch only, and in small $5.75) or large ($8.25) portions, was a cold noodle one with shrimp, peppers, carrots, rice noodles, cabbage, scallions, and peanuts. The cabbage was crunchy so it’s not easy to eat if your teeth aren’t great, though. I understand it’s a salad, and the dressing was a bit bland and I wished they used the same sauce for either Phad thai noodles or Vietnamese spring rolls (the clear fish sauce based sauce with sugar and vinegar which has more flavor). Overall a nice place to eat with friends or just alone while thinking or people watching or being on your phone or reading. The ambience and the good hearted staff made it all a great place for me. Thank you.
