Had reservations for a friend birthday. Arrived a few minutes after reservations time, but was seated right away.
This was a Sunday so not many ppl were there.
Waiter was nice and patient, it was an out of us.
Waiter to drink orders. I had Golden Aura and it was good. After order was placed for food, it took a good 45/hour wait and everything pretty much we ordered the same thing.
We had chicken, fish, lambs chops, beef short ribs with gravy on top. Not what we were expecting when we saw that. Sides were Mac and cheese, yams, dressing, greens, corn muffins.
When the order came out finally. Most didn’t like the Mac and cheese, it gave boxed Mac and cheese. Someone didn’t like the lamb chops, other person said they were okay. Beef short rib was okay, it looked more like a turkey leg. I had chicken and fish. Chicken was just okay, but the fish was good. Oh and we also had fried grew tomatoes and they said they were good as well.

It was my sister’s birthday party. From the time I arrived until the time I left I totally enjoyed myself!! The front desk lady was very polite and accommodating. I was the first one there and asked for a place to sit the gifts until the rest of the party arrived. She totally has no problem with that. We chit chatted about the lack of parking and she even gave me a tip on where to park next time I patronize the establishment! I said to myself “this is going to be my new place on the Avenue of Fashion to done at”. The rest of the party arrived and everyone loved the place as it was all of our first time being there. We ALL were impressed! The food was DELICIOUS!! My daughter’s grit’s had a tad too much salt. The cook came out and most assure her that he would remake them personally to her liking. We were ALL excited and happy that he cared enough to make a table appearance to ensure my daughter was satisfied! I was thinking “oh this is top notch service here” . She decided on the lamb chops instead. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection! I have and do A LOT of reviews and this one get ALL five stars. I would’ve given it 10 if it was allowed . The waitress was spot on. She was super polite and helpful. We truly appreciated her attentiveness to all of us. Kudos to LYV on the Avenue of Fashion!

TERRIBLE!!! 0/0 I gave 1 star because I couldn’t leave a review without one. So I forgot to take a picture of the seafood stuffed mushroom! They tasted like tuna with cheese on top. The steak bites were DISGUSTING! Over cooked, the seasoning was terrible and the rice, peppers and onions were just nasty! The fried wings were average. The shrimp and fries was the best thing we tried. And the drinks were okay. The atmosphere wasn’t bad and our server was cool! Just go ahead and close this place up! Just taking folks money and this is McDonalds quality, let’s be serious!

Had my bday dinner here and my experience was great. Reserved for a table of 8 and came in the day of and still let me add to my reservations and made it very easy for me. Will be back I loved the whole vibe and ambiance and r&b music …This was a Saturday btw!!!!

Presentation was beautiful, even met the chef. He explained why he don’t serve steak bites anymore. And I totally understand after he explained it. Only downfall was waiting a very long time. We felt like if our waitress left, we may not see her again. Food was slightly pricey. Also with the catfish dinner with three sides, you would be expected to get a full piece of fish or two maybe but instead you’re getting one big piece of fish cut up in three slices. I feel like that is kind of a rip off for what you pay. If you look at the menu getting the two sides meal and adding just the additional side is cheaper. Your charged gratuity and charged to use your card and also charged to not use cash. Want to definitely give them another chance, but I don’t want all the extra charges. Sadly didn’t take any pictures of the food or a bill due to rushing out as soon as I got my food because it was so long and I had to work.

So let me start by saying the ambience of this place was a 10/10, I love how chill this place is. The food was full of flavor but when it came to the $34 Salmon plate that my man ordered we were highly disappointed in the size of the Salmon, I have been to many restaurants all over the world and have gotten Salmon for a cheaper price with bigger portions. I highly suggest doing a larger Salmon for fullness and satisfaction. My man also ordered a Long Island ice tea which he sent back because it taste like pop. I ordered the beef short rib and it was a 10/10, it was so delicious. We will come back to try different options next time.

I went to LYV for a friend’s celebration. The lounge atmosphere and decor was nice. I ordered the catfish and it was decent. My only gripes were the server with the AirPod which would just stop and jester for plates, silverware, or cups. No excuse me or asking if you were finished. I don’t have an issue with the mandatory gratuity but the credit card fee to me is unnecessary. I recommend to bring cash and be patient because food comes out slow.

My first time but won’t be my last time. It’s a beautiful adult place. You can relax and enjoy yourself. We went on Soul food Sunday and everyone raved about how good the food was. Our Server hung in there with our large party but her support team was there to help. A young man who was helping our Server was sweet and kind. We dined last Sunday 2/23/26.

I gave my experience 2 overall stars for the atmosphere…the dj music selection was excellent. But that’s where it ends!!! We waited for almost 2 hours for our food. 45 min just for my appetizer. The alcoholic beverage I ordered was very weak so I ordered an additional shot to help it out. My shot came 30 minutes later but now the drink is watered down so the shot didn’t help at all. I sent it back. The short rib comes with a thick chunky gravy I didn’t like but the rib itself was tender and flavorful. The hibachi rice was a joke and so disappointing. The fried green tomatoes were good and the greens weren’t bad. The yams were way too sweet for me. The turkey chop was thin and dry. Order at your own risk!! I will never go back!
