Been roaming around near my workplace for my Friday dinners, but I’ve plum run out so I moved into more local eateries near my home. I use to know this spot as Crystal’s Restaurant, but that was years ago and it has since been reworked into the Lyon Street Bar and Grill.

Very kind owner and staff. We had our reunion here and they were so kind to let us have the space, music was spot on. The pizza was a perfect thing to pair with drinks. We could just kick back and hang out with friends. The bar itself is really cool and the set up is just right to provide a nice environment to spend some down time.

I was recently in town for a funeral and stopped by Lyon Street bar and grill. The staff and owner were extremely attentive and the food was delicious! My cousins and I ordered pizza and calamari and had several drinks from the female bartender (I’m sorry I forgot her name) who was super friendly. Thank you for your hospitality!

The food was AMAZING. We got the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and Philly steak sub – ALL were soooo GOOD!!! Fries, Mac n cheese and potatoes were AMAZING. And though they had originally forgot the baked beans – I called and the owner himself IMMEDIATELY said “where do you live , I will be there in 5 minutes.” And he was! Never experienced customer service like that. Very friendly and truly the food was 10/10!!!

Terrible, spent $43 for a pizza that was in the oven for 5 minutes before being boxed up and greasy boneless wings that seemed like fried breading filled with oil. Delivery was fast but the quality of the food shows exactly why. I’m making ramen noodles next time

Chose to eat here due to the high rating. Food was okay but our service was not. There was one other table here besides us and our server was no where to be found, didn’t check in and it took her forever to bring us things needed/asked for. I had a hair wrapped in my food, the server took my plate and apologized as she walked away and didn’t talk to us again. Charged our card more than our tab stated. We were not informed there was a fee to use card as we would’ve used cash. Bad communication, and customer service from our server.

I will be brutally honest. I know that most of the reviews on here are from locals, just as I am, and he’s a likeable guy so you’re going to get mostly good reviews no matter how good or bad there food experience was. My experience has been lukewarm. Out of the five different dishes I have ordered for takeout, there is only one of them that is really stand out. Almost everything, however, is overpriced. I only decided to post this review because tonight I was very much disappointed. I was originally going to order the corned beef and cabbage dinner, but the previous night I had spoken with someone who suggested I NOT do that because they had ordered it and they were disappointed with it. So instead, I ordered the bangers and mashed for the St Patrick’s Day Holiday- $19.44 with tax. I ordered it because I had seen a photo of it that a fairly well known local citizen had posted, and it looked to be very good with a very generous portion. Wow, was I disappointed when I picked mine up. Almost all potato, ( and by the way, isn’t it supposed to be mashed potatoes?…) most of them undercooked, with two smallish sausage links. Really?? For 20 bucks? My order certainly looked nowhere near what the aforementioned citizen’s looked like. Let me put it like this- I had to go to Burger King about an hour later and grab two hamburgers just to fill my hunger largely due to the fact that I basically had undercooked potatoes for dinner. Ridiculous and very disappointing. Again, I am not intentionally trying to bash a business that is a startup in the city, and like I said, the owner apparently is well liked. But at the same time, I am not going to sugarcoat things if there are good reasons not to. The taste of the food is not bad, however it really is overpriced and the portions are absolutely nothing to write home about…… but maybe that opinion depends on who you are. I guess I’m going to give up on them because I have just not been all that impressed. I gave them more than three chance. I gave them five, with 1 out of 5 being actually worth it. Yes, I suppose I could have called and complained about this, but they were extremely busy due to the St Patrick’s Day holiday/festivities going on in the city so I didn’t bother. I would have gotten nowhere.
