We went while visiting Apalachicola because it had a 4.7 rating. If I am basing my rating on freshness of Oysters and Gulf shrimp alone then yes, it is a 4 to 4.7. Service was good and servers were attentive. We found the place a little messy even for an oyster bar. They could do with new menus and and a thorough cleaning. Location is nice as it is on the gulf. Inside seating was tight and outside seating was plentiful if the weather is good. We found different the gumbo to have a pleasant flavor with generous shrimp and okra as I would expect. It was good but not great.

For years years this place has been my husband and I’s favorite place to come when we are in the area. Their shrimp and oysters are far better than anywhere else. The service is amazing and everyone you meet is beyond helpful and friendly. And in a time when its feels like everyone is raising their prices, Lynn’s has always been extremely affordable. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The best place to get oysters and any seafood needs.
I was hoping for some huge local apalachicola oysters but didn’t get any. The oysters we had were good tasting just a bit small. Had 1.5lbs of shrimp cook well and nice size.
Market value for a dozen of oysters has got to be crazy HIGH because wife and I had
1 dozen steamed
2 dozen capt jack
1 dozen Rockefeller
1.5 lbs of shrimp
Sweet tea
2x cokes
1 beer
Total $127.15 was a bit shocked but hey it was good. The gentleman that we had taking our order wasnt very attentive and they weren’t very busy while we sat outside. (I believe he was new, no harm we got to enjoy talking.) You get to sit outside eat your oysters and toss em into the water great spot to fill up.

We met friends at Lynn’s. We had tried to go twice before… showed up on a Wednesday; we didn’t realize it was closed on Wednesdays. And then again on a Sunday when only their retail is open. BUT it was worth the wait!
Hubby and I both ordered the gumbo. I really enjoyed it but hubby claimed he had had better. We shared a dozen Manning oysters. Our friends are regular. They had gumbo and shrimp.
We sat outside. The view was great. Our waitress was a real sweetie. Our food came out quickly but a bit piecemeal.

My wife and I have been visiting the Forgotten Coast area since 2017. Lynn’s is one of our favorite places to stop in for a bite, beer and view. We’ve eaten most everything on the menu including pie. Today we stopped in, along with our German Shepherd. While we ate a pound of steamed shrimp, she had a corn dog. The staff gave our girl the same attention that we received. The owners, Lynn and Greg sat down and chatted with us. This is truly a family owned and operated business. Lynn explained the business was first started by her grandfather, then mother and now her and her family. Please, if you’re passing through Eastpoint, FL, stop in for a bite, beverage and the view.

Extremely popular with locals and tourists alike. You will not find a more authentic place in Franklin County. What was once an “oyster house”, turned seafood market, and now featuring a steam bar, has been in the same local family for generations. Great food, great staff….and can we just talk about the views? As a local, I never grow tired of our beautiful bay. You won’t find a much better view than from the deck of Lynn’s! The menu is simple and not overwhelming with too many options. A visit to Franklin County is not complete without a stop here!

We were traveling along the scenic hwy and came across this gem of a restaurant. This place, by far, had the freshest oysters we have had at any restaurant. They were absolutely delicious. And after you eat your oyster you can throw the oyster right over the rail. We sat outside, so we can enjoy the view of the water. It was perfect. There were some kids out fishing on the docks. It was awesome. Everything about this place was perfect. If you are looking for a casual place to eat with the best oysters ever, definitely stop in here. Plus the staff is amazing as well. This place is a seafood market as well. We can’t wait to go back.

My husband looked this place in the map, and he said that we will eat here. We were not disappointed at all! The oysters are shucked right in front of us and they were so good. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. We shared a dozen fresh oysters, I had the shrimp pasta salad and my husband had the gumbo. We will be back when we travel here again!

The raw bar/in-house restaurant is always fantastic in all aspects. The food menu is small but everything on it is top notch quality and flavor. My favorite dish is the steamed shrimp, it’s harder to find at restaurants these days but Lynn’s does this dish perfectly and the dipping butter is the chefs kiss! All staff and servers here are the best. You’ll never have an empty drink and they all so welcoming and friendly.

Ordered the gumbo and steamed shrimp (1/2 pound) as well as key lime pie. Love their classy plates… Lol the place was pretty crowded at 2 PM on off-season. The food was outstanding. Prices were a little high. Plenty of parking. Sat at the bar. Def a must visit! The pie was ok….smallest piece I’ve ever had!
