I usually find eating out to be a waste of money because it’s usually food I could make way better by myself at home for a quarter of the cost, so if I’m going to pay a place to cook for me, I want it to be really good! I had an amazing breakfast at Lynn’s and enjoyed it so much we went back the next morning. I got the Hemingway Bennie both times. So good. Definitely more elevated than your typical cute little locally owned eatery and a better breakfast than any of the other cafes we’ve tried. It’s worth waiting for a table like we did Sunday morning. I will definitely want to go back next time we are in the area.

Met my girlfriends here for breakfast and we were seated pretty quickly since we had a reservation. They do ask the entire party is present before seating. I wanted to try the cinnamon raisin French toast and I wanted eggs/meat/has browns but they didn’t have a combo and everything al La carte would have been a fortune, so I just got the half order French toast and the egg/meat/hash brown/toast meal, eggs were cooked perfect, hash browns were very good, sausage was well done, just how I like it, and toast was good. French toast was a bit dry, I probably should have put butter on it, but it wasn’t moist at all. My friends got omelets and Benedict’s and they all loved them. The service was great and we enjoyed our time. It’s one of my friends favorite places to go.

This restaurant is in the downtown area of Brighton, Michigan. We went on a Sunday morning, and this restaurant seems to be place to be. We were lucky to be seated as soon as we arrived since there were tables open. I sensed we arrived at just the right time. The food was delicious, my poached eggs were cooked to perfection. I ordered Egg Florentine and my husband ordered a wrap. This restaurant has a full menu and you won’t be disappointed and the atmosphere was very family friendly all inclusive. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast was good. We all got some variation of the benedicts. Eggs were all cooked perfectly and hollandaise sauce was very good.

Hash browns were average. You are given a large portion, but they are completely unseasoned and not very crispy. However they weren’t very oily which is good. You will need to add a generous serving of salt to them to add flavor.

Service was quick. You can easily get in and out within 30 minutes with a small party.

For what it’s worth, my biggest complaint is that the food is too expensive for the quality. I have found similar quality food and service for 20% cheaper elsewhere. And there is nothing special about the ambiance either.

Lynn’s is a gem! Breakfast couldn’t have been better and the staff was a dream. It was my first time visiting, but I’ll definitely be a regular.

Highly recommend the hollandaise sauce and the sausage gravy. The specials all looked incredible, so it was hard to choose what to eat.

The vibe is old school diner, with a clean and updated look. The pride signage is an extra bonus. It’s welcoming, open, spotless, and fresh. Perfectly located with lots of parking. It’s a must try in downtown Brighton.

Food was not great. I ordered an egg white veggie omelet. The toast was cold, butter on top wasn’t even melted. The hash browns were inedible, they had a rancid oily taste. I had to spit mine out in a napkin because it tasted so off. My friend who also had hash browns said hers also tasted bad and was too greasy. The veggie omelet was the best part of my meal but I did pick out a small piece of sausage which was not supposed to be there, and I’m a vegetarian. My other friend was not impressed by the special, the French Toast was not soft and fluffy like she expected it to be and had no flavor. Service was slow and inattentive, never got any refills on our waters.

My daughter and I were in Brighton for a bball tournament and wanted a spot for breakfast that was not a chain. We found Lynn’s and liked the menu options. The food was great, good coffee, prices were fair and the staff extremely friendly. It was a great way to start our day and if we are in the area again we will definitely be going back!

Neat little breakfast/lunch spot just off the main road. Food was simple and fantastic! The coffee was refilled quickly and done with a smile. Looking forward to stopping in again when we are in Brighton.

My waitress was rude. Did not care at all. I will say the manager was the only great thing bout this place! I’ve been here many times over the last 20 years and this was horrible. For one the prices are outrageous for what you get. I found HAIR TWICE in my food! First time was on top and I just took it off and was like ok well I’m still hungry so I’ll just keep eating cuz my waitress sucked already I really didn’t want to deal with her. Then I found another hair IN my omelette. Like in the cheese so I knew this was definitely something that should be addressed. The waitress just took my food with NO I’m sorry or anything. Came back 10-15 mins later with the bill and just said she took it off. While I do appreciate that but the way she handled it and didn’t even offer to remake it or anything is unacceptable honestly. I had to go home and make my own food so basically just wasted 2 hrs there for a rude waitress and gross food.
