After being a part of the Lyndhurst community for 21 years, we decided that our name should reflect our dedication and gratefulness to the wonderful and loyal patrons of our restaurant. Therefore, we have changed the name of this location to the Lyndhurst Grill. Though the name has changed, the commitment to professional hospitable service and high quality “from scratch” cuisine has not.

The food was great! I haven’t been in years and it was like I never left. The lighting is very dark but the service is phenomenal and our waiter Latisha was amazing, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, zucchini, and Mac and cheese. My mom ordered the baby back ribs, fries and coleslaw (which she wasn’t too fond of) but our waiter replaced it free of charge! Great restaurant!

The food and service were excellent, very great first impression. It’s a romantic environment with a view into the kitchen. They take the time to put a fancy spin on small details. For example when they make margaritas they put the left overs in a small bottle which they then sit inside a larger glass of ice for easy access to a second chilled margarita. The fresh croissants are the best I’ve ever had with a sweet glaze drizzled on perfectly. The price is also very fair for fine dining considering all dishes are under 40 and get as low as 12 bucks and they come with side dishes andddddddd the bar pours generously.

Ate dinner the other night … our waitress Leteisha was awesome! Drinks were good, food was excellent and I always like the atmosphere. I do believe that they should take out a couple seats in the back corner, get a small stage and play soft jazz/blues … the atmosphere is perfect for that.

We had an 8:00 reservation and were seated at 8:15. This was Mother’s Day, so that is understandable. I had the Braissere Chicken, which was good, but there was too much parmesan sauce on it. It was a bit over powering. My husband had the trout and liked it. He had a mountain of coleslaw which was very tasty. We had to ask for bread, it isn’t automatic. I also had a lemon drop martini which was very refreshing.

The service was perfect. Very friendly professional people. They made me feel like I was the most important person in the restaurant. I order steak and the rattlesnake pasta, both were very delicious and plentiful.

They have lots of options so I don’t know why I still have not found something that I love here yet. The only reason I continue to go is because my husband loves the steak maui. Other than that the atmosphere is nice, staff is knowledgeable and even when it’s crowded the food still comes out in a reasonable time. Advice is to make a reservation during peak times and fyi you can’t call in carry out. You have to go in and place the order to do take out.

Server Brandon was super accommodating to my family. I appreciated his recommendation for meat temperature. The prime rib was great, would of like less fat but very tender and I loved the grill vegetables.

I Love this place – I celebrated my Birthday eating one of my favorite meals. The Rattlesnake pasta – made with chicken, peppers, onions, creamy sauce with spicy flavoring – a bowl of chicken pasta soup and moist carrot cake. The service was exceptional, food was delicious and the relaxing atmosphere is serene. I will return and recommend if you haven’t been…. Patronize this business! Our waitress Carla had a very pleasant demeanor, she was lovely.

Pretty expensive but you should know that when coming here. Food was excellent and you definitely feel like it’s worth the money. Regarding the service I’ll just relate a little observation that said a lot about the staff: a manager was on her way to the kitchen and noticed a very tiny piece of trash on the floor, and she immediately picked it up. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to provide a high quality experience for their customers speaks volumes about how you’ll be treated.

Really good service. I got the calamari which was a suggestion from the server, excellent! Tender, not chewy and the taste was amazing. The rib eye was ok. It was good. The crab cakes were really good. Good flavor and you can really taste the crab meat. I had a specialty drink red hatter margarita I think, it was really good although I didn’t like it in a martini glass and the second one they put in a better glass, but the drink was very good. I would definitely recommend this place. The price was steep though. The crab cakes are $38 for two cakes. The drinks were $13 a piece. With tip we spent almost $200 for 2 people. This is a special occasion place. We’re sent on a whim, but it was worth it.
