First time visiting and wanted to check out their “Dutch” offerings. This bakery has a nice curbside appearance and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and an almond tart. The almond tart was amazing!! So delicious and full of flavor! However, I was not impressed by the cinnamon roll. It almost tasted stale; dry and hard on the edges. It could’ve used a little more frosting, too.

I expected this bakery to sell authentic Dutch products, but it barely did. I tried the “poffertjes” flavoured muffin, which is not a Dutch thing at all. It tasted ok.

I have been coming to the Lynden Dutch bakery for over 20 years, and it is always a great experience and delicious baked goods. They have everything from donuts, scones, bread, pies, and all your favorite espresso drinks. Their pies are amazing. The Dutch apple pie is my favorite. They remodeled the inside in the last few years, and I must say I preferred the older version, but I understand this probably was better for business.

Lynden Dutch Bakery gave us a stellar catering experience! They were prompt at responding to our inquiry, punctual on the day of the event, and offered great hospitality with a personal touch, and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend and looking forward to working with them again!

It was on the list to visit in Linden WA. We got some pastry items and so good indeed. The cream filled bun was just coming out as you bit into it. What a wonderful mess on my fingers and on my face. Over 100 years they have been in business. Great to have such a bakery making the old fashion baked goods. I would recommend this bakery when you are traveling through Linden WA. Best to you!

For 100 years this place has been serving great treats. And they still do. From delightful sweets to delicious biscuits and gravy, you can come here any time of the day an get some homemade food.

Long time customer, but quality has continued to decline the last few years . Nice remodel but my friends and I don’t go for coffee and treats there anymore as the treats are dry or tasteless and everything is overpriced….way (even with inflation). I assume they rely on holiday and the Fair for most of their business as both locations have limited seating inside. Poor, unfriendly, not trained counter help is a huge problem. Don’t trust the online photos anymore. It’s not the same!

Lemonade was great! Banana bread was great! My husband said the lemon scone didn’t have much flavor. The young lady taking the orders seemed agitated at everyone but I only assume it was because it was super busy.

I grew up in Lynden, and the poffertjes here are amazing when there’s an event happening. That being said, the last 2 times I’ve visited the town and bakery I have paid a lot for donuts that are clearly stale (including the ones we got today). We got the chocolate Bundt cakes this morning and one bite in we had to throw them away, also stale. My daughter who eats all things chocolate couldn’t even eat them. It’s frustrating to pay such high prices for stale pastries. Probably won’t be visiting again.
