The place offers variety of Pakistani cuisine in a nice atmosphere.
However, the food quality needs improvement to wow clients in this competitive environment.
Chicken Karahi dis not tasted as expected & even the meat cut was not proper.
The place has all necessary structure available to take it to the next level.
Wanted to share a picture of their iftaar boxes as it’s not listed here that they have Iftaar boxes!
The highlight of the meal was the goat kadhai — it was very well cooked, tender, and full of rich, authentic spices. Definitely the standout dish and something I would recommend ordering again.
The chicken biryani, however, was a bit disappointing. It lacked depth of flavor, and the rice and chicken didn’t quite come together the way a good biryani should.
Overall, a mixed experience: strong appetizers and an excellent goat kadhai, but the chicken biryani could use improvement.
I ordered the following:
Goat Biryani – 10/10
Garlic Naan- 10/10
Beef Samosa- 10/10
Chicken Samosa- 10/10
I had a sprite to drink.
I got exactly what I was expecting, the service was just outstanding, very friendly, they make you feel like you are at a family gathering, the ambience gave a very ethnic/cultural vibe, they had music on from Pakistan so that just made everything fall into place. I would definitely recommend all items above, even if it’s your first time trying this type of food you will not be disappointed. I will be back for more, I couldn’t decide from a few items, so I will have to come back for sure.
Go on try it, thank me later.
For a Thursday (working day) it was fairly busy. The location threw us off because we thought, if this place has so many recommendations , it has got to be located in a busy mid town area. But Lyari cafe is located in a weird area close to Warehouses and some phone stores.
Having said that, the place is fairly clean for a desi restaurant. It does have an unpleasant smell of low quality cleaning agents mixed with some agarbatti.
We ordered Nihari and Chicken Pulao. They were out of Chicken Biryani. The Nihari was on par, great taste, look and consistency. Not too spicy. The pulao was delicious also, a perfect Pakistani style pulao but it was a bit too salty.
Naan was great and service was great too.
We just wish that it was in a better location.
The portions were generous, the service was welcoming, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for real quality BBQ that actually hits the spot, this is the place.
Highly recommend — Lyari Cafe Finest just earned a loyal customer! ️
The service was just as impressive. Server went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As a thoughtful gesture, we were also treated to a complimentary dessert, which was a lovely surprise and a perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, Lyari Cafe delivers not only exceptional food but also top-notch hospitality. It was a memorable dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others
Absolutely love this place!
Cafe Lyari is a hidden gem in Texas. This is an authentic Pakistani restaurant, generous portions, and warm hospitality.
The biryani is rich and flavorful, and the Nihari is hands down one of the best I’ve had in the States.
Everything tastes homemade and comforting.
The staff is friendly and always makes you feel welcome. If you’re craving real, delicious Pakistani food, this spot is a must-visit!
Balochi karahi is flat out amazing
