The food was fresh, delicious, flavorful. And the waitress was amazing. The music is awesome. I recommend everyone coming to this place. The chef is a female. She handled her business. Love it. Had family in from Florida and they enjoyed every plate. We had the salmon grits. We had fried fish, lemon pepper, chicken wings, macaroni and cheese. Tianna had my old fashion on point. Much better than last night. The DJ had me vibing and looking for my next trip. I couldn’t tell it was just a Tue night. Food for the soul, the picture doesn’t do my dinner justice. This experience was definitely the cherry on top of my recruiting visit at NC A&T. Looking forward to the fall if I don’t make it back sooner. To the entire Luxe team, keep it on classy. My first impression is stellar!

The wings in sauce were on point.
The soul wrap was phenomenal. The collards in it was so well done.
Drinks were delicious.
Portion sizes were perfect. I wish there was more but I’m only saying that because I could eat this food until my stomach ruptured.

The food is as good as as it looks! I had such a great experience that I feel like I have to submit this review before I leave. Everyone here is friendly, welcoming and professional. I am impressed all the way around. Taniya was my waitress and her customer service was stellar‼️ The vibe here is everything! My meal and strawberry lemonade was under $22. I will definitely be visiting frequently.

However my biggest issue is the lack of transparency with the venue. It does not look ‘as upscale’ as it does in the pictures.
Tables had black stains on them, the couch were broken.
Lastly my food and my friends food came out raw. Luckily the manager comped our meal, but I was so annoyed I ended up just leaving and paying for my appetizer and my drink.

Decent food, good prices. You cant just call everything “soul food”. Soul food is the kind of food your grandma used to make. The food here is not that. The floor was very sticky under and around our table, making me think they never mop the floors. My shoes were stuck to the floor several times. You do not want to have to think about how nasty the floor probably is while you’re eating. Whatever had been on that floor was on there since at least yesterday. It is a nice place. Upscale? Naw. You’re not gonna tell me it’s upscale with worn seats and tables, paint missing on the walls and bulbs blown on the light fixtures. I had a shrimp po boy and mac n cheese. None of our food was hot (it should have been), but it was still good. I would definitely recommend.

Came here for one of my friend’s birthday celebration and it was absolutely perfect. We started off with drinks, which were both strong and had great taste. I got the chicken wings with cabbage and mac & cheese while my friend got the fried flounder with yams and mac & cheese. We had no complaints and everything was fresh and flavorful. They even brought out ice cream and cookie and sing happy birthday.

It was our first time visiting downtown Greensboro in many years. LUXE is a diamond of a restaurant. Staff was as awesome as those collards (which do not need vinegar) and this speaks for itself !!
