A good stop for coffee before going up the 30 North to west side resorts. The coffee was really good. You can stop by at 76 gas station on the way back to return the rental car too – it’s only 6 miles to the OGG.
We waited 18 minutes just for our coffee, which would be understandable in a busy place, but it definitely wasn’t the case.
We ordered 2 ice lattes and 3 hot lattes.
We also ordered a muffin — it was very small, and served cold.
Half of the items on the menu were not available, which was surprising considering the place had just opened and it was early morning.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was slow, the food quality didn’t match expectations, and the menu wasn’t ready for customers.
The iced coffee here is next-level good—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of boldness. Whether you’re starting your day or cooling off from the Hawaiian sun, it’s exactly what you want in your cup. You can tell they take their craft seriously—this isn’t just coffee; it’s an experience.
If your cameras are pointed at your employee’s face, you’d visibly see the hostile way she looked at us. So either you’re being dishonest, or your “footage” doesn’t capture facial expressions or audio, in which case it can’t possibly disprove what we experienced. We gain nothing by sharing the ugly way your “kindest” server behaved, but your dismissive response only confirms the poor customer care here.
Come to Luxxe latte: Where we treat customers with care, and we’ve got the footage to prove it! That’s an interesting business slogan. Not one we saw at any of the many other coffee shops we visited, including Island Vibe Cafes, Kraken Coffee, Akamai Coffee Co., all of which offered genuinely warm and welcoming service.
We made direct eye contact with the “kindest” server, and in return, she scowled, rolled her eyes, turned her back, and then slammed open the service window without saying a word. This wasn’t a misunderstanding. It was a weird and obvious moment of being treated with visible hostility. A little accountability would go a long way, instead of dismissing the rude behavior and calling it “kind”. And sure, share the footage, especially with your staff for training purposes, after all she knows how she treated us.
Today (10/19/2025) at 2:40PM, we came up to the coffee truck and once the clerk saw us and made eye contact with us, she glared and rolled her eyes at us. It was very weird and ugly behavior.
She then slammed open the serving window. Not exaggerating, she opened it with a loud and angry whack. We didn’t want a miserable and potentially mentally unstable person making our simple cup of coffee and just drove away.
The first word in this coffee shop’s overview is friendly. The exact opposite, rude, aggressive and hostile. To management, please help this individual. To customers and tourists, please stay away, unless you want someone taking their hate out on you.
We came back every single day of our entire trip.
Do yourself a favor and drive right past the nearby Starbucks and pull in here. You won’t be sorry!
It’s counter service and take a little bit, but it’s 100% worth it!
