I usually check reviews from places wish I did them and considering they are black owned needs to do better. This was my first and last time here. I had the turkey tips combo. The meat was dry the sauce and fries were ok but that coleslaw OMG was the WORST I EVER TASTED. Real Talk. I tossed before taking a pic.

The turkey tips were not good, the meat tasted boiled instead of like BBQ. I returned my order and asked to sample the pork ribs. The ladies at the front counter were gracious enough to let me sample them. To my surprise, they were very tough and chewy like bubble gum. At this point, I’m slightly flustered so I decided to go with the chicken wings. After waiting 1hr and 10mins plus paying about $26 for my food which included a hiding charge for using my debit card (no visible signage posted) the cook forgot to include my fries with the wing dinner. The chicken was good and the sauce was tasty but I do not plan to return.

After reading the reviews I couldn’t wait to try this pizza so I am now able to give my own honest review without apologies. I ordered a large cheese pizza and the only good thing I can say about it is that it smelled good on the way home in my car which I now realize was because of my hunger, thus the one star for its smell. Perhaps the positive reviews are from relatives and or employees because this pizza has absolutely no taste to it. The cheese is bland with no flavor at all, and to be totally transparent, our usual boxed Red Barron pizza taste waaay better than this pizzeria one. I love supporting Black businesses but our people really need to focus on quality because the ingredients used in this pizza doesn’t make it a quality one at all for the cost of $23.05.

I ordered food from Lux Resto and unfortunate for it was good. I will not be ordering again; I ordered the Lux Burger and fries. The burger had way to much pepper and they left the grilled onions off. The chicken wings were small and over cooked. I like to support businesses but I need to know I’m getting something worth my money and that was not the case.

I’ve been looking for a good rib place and stumbled upon this place … rib tips were very tender meaty and seasoned well! Nice pieces not just Bonney fatty pieces like I’ve been finding at other spots lately. Had the sauce on side but really could have eaten them without but the sauce was tasty too… more of a vinegar style than a sweet baby ray’s style … I will try them again to make sure I didn’t just get lucky one time lol

Horrible customer service experience. I had ordered from this place twice. Both times I enjoyed the food and had actually referred friends and family there.
This time I called to place an order for pizza, I asked the young lady who answered the phone about the price of a medium pizza w/one topping. She kept saying they start at a general price, I then asked about the specials , after she told me what the specials were, I told her I would just take the medium pizza to which she replied, “I thought so, what do you want on it. “ I immediately hung up.
