I thought I would never have to write a review for this place…. I honestly didn’t think one bartender could single-handedly ruin a place I used to genuinely love, but this new one managed it without even trying. When Austin, the old bartender, was there, we came constantly. He was friendly, respectful, and actually knew how to treat people. And on karaoke nights, Johnny brought the whole place to life with his energy and kindness. Between the two of them, this bar used to feel like a second home. Now? After our recent experience, we won’t be returning at all. There are kinder, more professional bartenders everywhere else.
The moment we walked in, the new bartender was spread across multiple bar stools like the whole bar was her personal couch. The vibe was instantly, “I don’t care, don’t bother me,” and honestly? We felt it so hard that we tried to avoid even ordering drinks just to limit the interaction.
When we explained that we had a big party coming in and wanted a mix of songs—something we’ve always been able to request there—she couldn’t be bothered. And look, I fully understand she’s a bartender and not a DJ, but based on past experiences, customers do get to request songs. If that’s suddenly too overwhelming, then seriously, I’d rather just hire an actual DJ.
Instead of handling it professionally, she snapped, “I’m a bartender, not a DJ,” in the most irritated, dismissive tone possible. Then she threw in that sarcastic, smug smile that made it painfully clear she was being rude on purpose.
And to top it off, she even made a comment along the lines of “I’m cooler than Austin, so forget him.” Whether she meant it as a joke or not, it was beyond disrespectful—especially coming from someone who couldn’t even show basic courtesy.
The favoritism was just as bad. If you aren’t one of the people she’s decided she likes, prepare to be treated like your presence is a problem.
If they handed out an award for “Most Unpleasant Attitude of the Year,” she’d win it easily. And if management thinks this is acceptable customer service, they’re seriously fooling themselves.
We’ll be taking our business somewhere else—somewhere with staff who actually respect people, the way Austin always did, and somewhere with the warm, welcoming energy Johnny brought to karaoke nights.
Because after this? We’re done.

Got a call from a friend that my daughter, niece and nieces boyfriend were being harassed and threatened by some other patrons. I went to go see what was going on. Heavy set man with dark hair, beard and mustache was being rude and mouthy with my nieces boyfriend, the females were threatening to “beat up” my daughter and niece for no reason other than the women were being drunk idiots. My daughter, niece and nieces boyfriend are all only 22 and these people were in their 40’s or older. The bartender named Megan was aware of what was going on and did nothing to stop it or address the behavior so not sure if she knew them or just didn’t want to lose the money since there was nobody else in the bar. To be honest, the bartender seemed to be buzzed up herself. She didn’t comprehend when she was told no pineapple juice due to allergies and still made the drinks with it, also spilling the drinks as well. Rather than kick the people out who were causing trouble she sided with them which tells me she knew them, or again, didn’t want to lose the money if she told them to leave. The patrons were a heavy set guy who was the one starting the trouble, another guy and three women. Only two of the women I had an interaction with when I got to the bar. The supposed primary instigator was upstairs sitting at the bar. My daughter and niece basically just went to play pool since there was nobody there and these drunk idiots started trouble as soon as they got there. Trying to bully young people because they look young and stick up for themselves, when your about 20 years older, is trash behavior. With regards to the bartender, every other bartender immediately addresses this type of behavior, but this bartender did not. There was another female bartender before this Megan, and she was saying something to the bullies but nothing was actually done. This place will never get our business again and I’ll let people know to stay away from this place as well.

The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is stellar! Went there with some friends and we had a blast. Our bartendette Zee was a breath of fresh air and our drinks were never dry. Grab some friends and check this place out! 10/10 for a great night spot!

My favorite bar in town by far. Ive been going to the lux for a few years now. It has cheap drinks, amazing staff that are really friendly, and Austin comes up with the best drinks. The dance floor is so fun. The Karaoke still needs a little work lol, but that takes time. All in all the lux has a great atmosphere and great vibes.

The DJ is a bit young and inexperienced… “Read the room” … The dancefloor is cool and the seating, ample, however it would be nice to be able to open a tab instead of closing out after every round.
That being said, the bartenders were attentive, friendly, and quick to serve our drinks.
I will go back and see what it is like on a Friday night instead of a Saturday night.
Also, you have a stage, seating, dancefloor ,,, maybe contract Karaoke one night a week to bring in more business … Saturday nights may be better.

I spent a week in Helena at the hotel across the street. I went over about every night. The bar tender is awesome. Good people were there. The dance floor is fun

I didn’t eat here, had just a few drinks, but when I tell you that I danced for HOURS I’m not being dramatic. I literally danced for hours and loved it! The perfect dance floor, the DJ was amazing ! I will be returning to tear up the dance floor again!

On the main level, there’s a patio area, inside seating, and a dance floor with lighting. The service was great, and the DJ was willing to take requests. It was a fun place for a Girls’ Night Out.

What a waste of space and money. This has to be the most laziest club owners. The place looks good but there hardly anyone there during the weekends. They have no social media presence, its like the only people know this place exist is the people who live in the neighbor hood. lol You would think with a nice venue like this they would be having themed parties, guess dj’s and more. Some body needs to learn how to market and promote or this place is doomed.
