The menu offers a solid number of options, so there’s something for everyone. I decided on the Belgian waffles topped with berries and whipped cream, along with eggs and home fries. The waffle itself was a bit tough, but still enjoyable overall. One feature was the hot syrup they offer.
Pricing is very affordable, especially for the portion sizes and overall quality. I also appreciated that you place your order and pay up front. It makes the experience more convenient since you’re free to leave whenever you’re ready instead of waiting around for the check.
My biggest downside was the menus. They’re printed on paper and were pretty wrinkled. I feel like a restaurant of this standard should at least have laminated menus to give a more polished impression.
We ordered the shrimp po-boy and this was really good. Loved the seasoning and fry of the shrimp and the mayo served with the sandwich was amazing. I wish there has been less bread; too much bread to shrimp ratio and the sandwich had more mayo on it. The fries served weren’t house made but they were coated and tasty.
Also had wings with onion rings. Both didn’t taste like they were made in house. The wings had a great coating and were fried really well. Onion rings also good, fried well and very straight forward.
I would go back and order something else next time.
I’m watching all the staff running around clearing tables, taking orders, bringing orders to tables…wow they’re hustling!
Food is well flavored. I had the Crazy Cajun fries with fried shrimp, crawfish sauteed in onions and green onions with cheese and a sauce. My spouse has a shrimp poboy. Hats off to the chef.
The crawfish omelette was rich, topped with their special sauce, and loaded with crawfish, and the potatoes on the side were seasoned just right.
The honey chicken biscuit was ok. The biscuit was tasty, the chicken was perfectly fried, and the honey drizzle pulled it all together.
Great food, great portions, and we left happy and full!
