Beautiful coffee shop! The decor is amazing and it feels nice to hang out. The cold brew and iced London fog drinks were amazing. I also enjoyed the avocado toast and that it came with goat cheese.

Unsure why there are low reviews from people about pastries but if you’re a regular at Lux Bru you know you gotta order the food FOOD! You’re not getting the full experience if you don’t try their croque monsieur, avocado toast with fried egg, waffle hash browns or chicken bacon wrap! Called this place my second home with the amount of studying I did here during nursing school & have never had a bad experience here. Their iced latte with vanilla is amazing and strong. The music is always on point, too! I honestly just don’t think people get that this is a place for work, studying or catching up with friends. That’s the vibe I get from this particular coffee and food spot. It may not be your cup of tea but it’s def the first place I’m gonna go to if I want strong iced coffee & a quiet place to study!

So I returned for a second time and it was great. Nice place to study and do homework. The mini hash brown stacks were delicious! I also had the shrimp and grits for the second time and it had so much flavor. I do wish it didn’t have so much oil in it but other than that fantastic.

If I could rate this place a million stars, I would. The staff were so kind, and the food?? To die for. I got the Salmon with hash browns as a side instead of the grits, and let me tell you, that was the best salmon I’ve had in a minute. Also the avocado toast was so yummy. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, beautiful atmosphere with lovely people.

Since it is a bit off on its own, in a town where so many food establishments are clustered together, the place is not crowded and is therefore more enjoyable. Restrooms are clean. The menu board at the register is set away behind the bar with small text, making it difficult to read, but there is another menu as you first approach the counter. They had no decaf coffee options, but said they will be getting some in the future. A fine meeting spot for a small bite and a warm beverage.

A nice quiet café and tea room. Decorated in an Art Deco style with reggae playing, but not too loud or obnoxious. This is a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I had the eight ounce latte and a cinnamon roll with frosting. Both were well made and very tasty.
The service was spectacular. The lady who served us was Ty. She is very professional and friendly. She knows their products and is able to make helpful recommendations.

Lux Bru Coffee Cafe went above and beyond to provide my family with the best dining experience and hospitality.
I ordered a delicious egg, sausage, cheese croissant, muffin and carmel latte. Delicious! My husband ordered gouda grits and shrimp. I have never acquired a taste for grits, salt, sugar, or Southern style. He encouraged me to try his grits! Baby, you could slap your momma on this entree! My husband knew I did not like grits and was willing to trade entrees with me because I enjoyed his so much. My next trip to Lux Bru Cafe would be gouda grits and shrimp. I promise you will not be disappointed dining at Lux Bru Coffee Cafe.
